Headancer - it was a sell and I will put it into the figures for yesterday. However I won't go to the trouble of updating the trade analysis article for yesterday as it stays exactly as it was written then. What I do do though is use the corrected nett trading information when forming the charts that show the evolution of the MMs nett position as a function of time. You will notice that I have not been issuing these recently as I have been waiting for further trades to show up around the 15M from last week. None have come and so I shall use this weekend to go back over the last couple of weeks trades to figure out what has happened.

Looks like the expected profit taking did not show up, so we're up again, 39.2 to sell, 39.7 to Buy

spbhoy - well catching two tiddlers over the course of most of an hour is not exactly going to fill the pot at the end of the day.

Sanchez is bang on the money - the webinar will be just to bring all of us Investors up to speed to the general Energy Storage market - so that when they ultimately unveil how BE will work we will actually appreciate what it all means.

However BBN has already given us a marvellous headstart on this and TBP will have more to come also.

Not the normal reason at the end of a short - a short squeeze. What it might mean is that the MMs (well probably just one of them) won't have a block of 6.25M easy shares to call on if their games don't work out.

if this is the case then I don't know why they didn't call on these shares when the short that was set up during the strike fell flat on its face following the Sojitz buyout - perhaps they were prepared to suck up the loss (over £250K it cost them I reckon) and try and make it back with a long play on some cheap FI shares whilst keeping their back stop for another day.

Maybe today they ran out of road.

That would appear to leave the following sections of the JSE

Alt-X
Venture Capital Market (VCM)
Development Capital Market (DCM)

which are not currently recognised by HMRC.

I have no idea if there is any big difference between these and the main market in their ability to trade shares - however I suspect that we are now in the big boys market now and unless there is a specific tax benefit (eg wrt something like BEEE) for being classed in one of the other markets then we shall just have to suck up the loss of IHT avoidance.

As Faramog says we may have to just find a way to spend it all - am I right in thinking that the obvious way would seem to be to gift the shares to the beneficiaries 7 years before you plan on popping your clogs ?

Before anyone gets concerned I will of course be writing to Chika about the mistake in the number of warrants outstanding. The 289,019 expired earlier in the year.

I would expect that these warrants have already been sold into the market and may have been the origin of the largish sells in the last 4-5 days. Analysis to come later in the week.
