Tomorrow is, I think, going to be quite epic. I believe that the tame seller overhang, and associated MM short position, must have been cleared by now and 50p will be challenged head on tomorrow.

I think that BMN should be assumed to be able to dominate in its own domestic market, after all they will be making the batteries in South Africa. I think RedT will have to be content to pick up orders elsewhere.

faramog - thanks for clarifying - just for the avoidance of doubt I was once invited to become an insider by Fortune but I explained that would make it very difficult for me to make any comments on, or possibly even run the Bushveld Perspective - so it has been concluded that it is not really conceivable that I could ever become an insider.

I'm reconciled to that situation despite of course dearly loving to know what, exactly, is coming.

I guess it is like your christmas presents when you are a child. Whilst some might steal down in the middle of the night to sneak a look at what they are getting that obviously spoils the delight of finding out at the most appropriate time and occasion.

Johhny - I'll see how I go - I seem to have picked up a bit of a sniffle.

Mikinaman - unlike your average bedroom buffet's who read one article by Tom Winnifrith and then think they'll chance their luck on a spreadbetting platform the MMs actually control the share price and are the first port of call for anyone who wishes to cash in some warrants or a large share position.

Thus the MMs are usually in a much better position to make money by persistently selling short into buying strength on the assumption that they'll always be able to walk the price down and scare some ill-researched shareholder's into bailing out.

I say usually - it is different here because shareholders have a truly profound understanding of the current value, and potential future value, of this business. We are not going to be mugged like so many have been before.

Mogwhy - that's very interesting information - I wonder if we will see similar rollovers to those that we saw yesterday, or the two closely space 817,323 trades yesterday are in some way related to the Spreadex (or other SB platforms) rollover you describe. It would be very interesting for everyone to understand better the relationship that exists between trades in the real market and on the SB platforms.

Pat48 - no alas I suspect that they have cover from their tame seller so will simply take, or will have taken, a great big handful of shares. You rarely find that those who write the rules get to suffer under them. However woe betide them if they transgress those rules, as fire and fury shall descend upon them.

Sotonian - it depends somewhat on who turns up tomorrow morning.
