Have you been reading dreamachine's posts and learnt a new term too?
Folks that have seen it *no spoilers* but is it something a fan will go and watch again? A lad I used to work with went and watched the star wars films three or four times when they were released.
I think were more Schrödinger's cat anyway.
Every post of yours mentions Dead cat. Either you've recently learnt a new term and are keen to use it often to show how clever you are or you like dead cats.
I heard there was talk of contacts isolation ending and being replaced with 10 days of LF test, to then move into isolation if theres a positive. When I had to order some home LF Tests on Monday (have to test 2-3 times a week with work dealing with the food industry) there were none in stock, so not sure how that will work yet, especially with numbers on the rise. Today seems like there are some back in stock though.
I would like to see something from them to say what they plan to do with the appeal, and then longer term going forward to bring more cash in, more bums on seats etc. However I don't really hold my breath as I feel sometimes the communication is lax at best sometimes, however the replies to emails some guys sent to investor relations as copy and paste as they did feel, at least they responded.
Personally not too bothered about spiderman, never been a big superhero film fan but really looking forward to The Matrix and also the new JackAss film on 4th Feb. Me and about 15 mates went to see the last one in 3D and it was a great laugh and it was packed, hopefully much the same again.
Spot on Bonkers.
Also, would I be wrong in thinking that CW will string the appeal for a long as possible to delay the payment etc. Surely there must be a window to lodge the appeal (example 60 days, so file on the 59th).
"Don't get me wrong, I love cinema, but as I have been hearing on TV this morning hospitality and entertainment businesses complaining about massive cancellations. With this omicron around venues including cinemas will remain empty I'm afraid...."
Try and book a few seats for spiderman....
@wellington
Doubtful I'll come up with anything useful, I'm no lawyer, accountant, or anything like merely just an engineer, with an investment trying to understand what's going on, where we stand, and what the future could look like.
I asked a question, if nobody had the answer for I'd look myself. If somebody has the answer then where's the efficiency in me looking for information that's already there. Missed the original post where it was mentioned, there's been a lot of useless posts today so I've been skipping over posts.
Course I'm here to try and help, while I might not have as much invested as some, I'm still pretty well in the red and would like that to change.
Most of us LTH's are in the same boat, let's try and work together and get all shirty when somebody asks a question, and then doubt their authenticity for asking the question.
I wasn't sure and hadn't seen the question about the judge asked, but I haven't been reading all day, so somebody who might have read or seen the answer would be quicker than me trawling google and the Canadian court documents to try and find the answer.
Not seen the answer to this yet, does an appeal get a new judge, or are we stuck with the old one?
Welcome to the two shares club ;)
You said you were going...
~ mooky's £1.90 bonus target.
I really doubt that could/would happen. I was really hoping for an out of court settlement, before the conclusion of the case, or even before the decision of the judge, evidently that didn't happen.
I still can't fathom how she came to that decision or valuation but I'm no judge, or legal expert.
hahahaha Brill PW.
Weird how the last trading update was the 15th November, the court case release was the 15th December, WTF is going to happen on the 15th Jan?!
Do you really think Mooky will sell to Cineplex? You obviously haven't read about Mooky's intent on taking Cineworld to be #1.
Had a nice lie in this morning. Wow-what a shock when I checked the SP out. This mornings coffee has definitely been bitter. I always thought that a Toronto based judge might side with the Toronto based firm for that home advantage per se. Wonder if the appeal will be held in London.
I was hoping for a bit more from the RNS, a bit more detail other than we will appeal, and no money will change hands until after the appeal has been decided. Even with the amount halved, I still think it's an awful lot to pay, considering.
