In mine, I found earnings to be roughly 3x leveraged to the copper price. That said, I think we need book value growth in order to get to a SP of 1100 GBX, since I don’t see it pushing past a PB ratio of 2.0 realistically.

I'm also curious which will come first - $5.50/lb copper or Touro.

The other news we have to be anticipating/excited about is the Q1 financial results in a week or two.

I am hoping they are good as ATYM had a amazing quarter in terms of copper production (14291 t) at a realised price of $4.26/lb of copper.

I am also hopeful as energy prices are lower than last year and the average price of crude oil was approx ~ 74 $/bbl in Q1.

I was also a little disappointed this morning, however I think Q2 will be interesting and am interested to see what happens to the copper spot price over the next six months. In the Q1 results meeting Alberto seemed to be quite bullish on the copper price and said they won't be locking in at these levels and it could be a mistake to do so. Left the results meeting feeling good about the company at these all time highs, what was everyone else's thoughts/takeaways from todays result meeting?

Yes today's/yesterday's rally really is quite something. Hoping this holds and gets to 5 USD/lb shortly.

Yes only 70.63 million shares in issue and it has been that way since 2021. I am very glad that Novacyt aren't one of those companies that keeps issuing shares YoY. I also think it is very good that Nova has a nice amount of cash behind it (hopefully even more soon) with todays climate of high interest rate, which I am also hoping will come down lol.

Whalebone please don't give us updates on the spot price every 15 minutes. Hopefully we will see a reflection in the SP next week.

I'm with boreddesigner on this one, last weeks downturn seemed a bit random and unjustified imo so I am viewing today as a correction. I personally won't be letting any of my shares go until after the end of year results in less than 3 weeks time. Hopefully we will be back at the 170's in a week or two. GLA

Yes I have invested at these levels with the same belief that the share price will recover. In FY2022 there was the impairment of non-current assets of about -55 million USD, this resulted in the profit after tax being lower (33.8 M USD for FY22 compared to 84.2 M USD in FY21). However, hopefully when the end of year financials are released (I think the end of this month) it will be stronger than last year.

I also am hoping for a strong copper performance this year:))

Yes we are having good performance with copper (and zinc and lead). Good to see copper over 3.9 USD / lb again. I am looking forward to 4.0 or over! The share price hasn't been moving with the commodity the last few days, so hopefully it will catch up before the end of the week.

I was really hoping that copper would hit 4 USD/Lb. Hopefully we will see this shortly in the new year. Happy to be in CAML and looking forward for the trading update soon!

I have been researching into this company as I would assume it is in a good position for growth. The YoY revenues are increasing nicely each year. However, there seems to be little profit and the shares are getting dilated each year (an average of ~15% dilation each year for the last 5 years)

I have a few other concerns such as the trading update on the 1st of September.

When are you LTH's looking for the share price to return to 2021/2022 levels (MCAP of over 300M)? And what are your thoughts on when will the company start making profits?

Not sure if its worth explaining to you why ALNOV fell 16% today.
But it's because the french exchange was open yesterday, if you look at the two graphs you will see that they follow each other practically like for like.
As for tomorrow we simply don't know yet what will happen, that being said the last 5 days of trading have shown massive gains.

The price to book ratio on this stock is very low, I calculated it to be in the region of 0.63 (from the June interim results). Hoping Novacyt will have more sales in the new year and finally clear up the dispute. What an amazing trading day to finish the year and wishing everyone a happy new year!
