Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Having been invested circa 3 years now. Is that the first time MM has met or exceeded expectations on an earnings call?
Hopefully bodes well

Where are the details for this?
Does that mean they will take a 10% charge for selling? How can they take 100%?
The board have a fiduciary responsibility to ALL shareholders or criminal consequence results.
This whole scenario changes when GS expires. Whether he wants to keep his car or stamp his feet becomes irrelevant! It’s not his company anymore he’s forgotten that!
My read is like with Mondays article it’s all just positioning in a negotiation. I doubt it’s a binary Y/N.
Matt needs a partner to de-list and grow his baby. Will be compromise on both sides or it’ll go a different direction.
Today has not been fun for sure but in context it’s indicative of this stock.
Still all a punt on whether Apollo can close this deal. I’m hopeful but it’s still 50/50.
Markets have just rebalanced to roughly that scenario IMO.
Best wishes
Polish it was a 17% rise on Monday. Today we are roughly 16% down. I follow the data.
For those moaning about the dump today it was almost the exact reversal of Mondays pump. Differing opinion and yet both speculative reporting of circumstances and with similar results +/-.
A deal getting done has now re-equalised at 50/50.
Chip in play at £1.
I don’t understand how the MM can judge that @118p they have priced in a fair value bid at 150p. Wide consensus is that’ll be rejected as it doesn’t reflect value. Yet a negative article which calls out the obvious risk of a deal being done drops THG to 80p.
So how do MM justify the lower SP?
Makes no sense when simple supply demand economics are irrelevant.
I absolutely agree.
Been in the stock so long now I just want the nonsense to end. MM clearly not a plc CEO so **** gotta change.
I’d just prefer the change to happen now!
Not sure iof collective opinion but I read MM latest post as he’s not selling. We know this is likely and he’ll dig his heels in.
So the biggest question is would Apollo do a deal with MM? Would they do it without majority ownership and control I doubt it. So will MM give up control!
My gut tells me he will fall on sword before he gives up his baby.
This is what concerns me about any offer getting done.
Good luck All
It’s break £1 tomorrow now!
350k here. short squeeze needs lots more
Obviously I hope so too.
Would just appreciate any precedent of timeline to gauge.
Example
Bid X
THG response immediate or considered.
We all expect any low ball offer to be rejected but if like the 1.70 it come a while after the price leaked we gave time before the SP reaction.
It does feel very different to last time. An indicative price was put forward before any due diligence. Here Apollo are a very different proposition.
Does anybody have a view or ideally experience with how an offer is made and what follows? My concern is we get an RNS rejecting an offer at say £1.50 before we even know and the SP tanks!
My question is any offer made public and THG out of respect takes a similar time frame to reject or accept?
All this could happen before the 15th but would appreciate perspective on expected timings.
Surprised to see such a pull back as expected it to run into US open. Surely PIs taking profit couldn’t move market so much? Come on the yanks!
I really hope Sparta TR1 as we need a bigger voice with Kelso to press home the inevitable here!
The board have a fiduciary responsibility!
They could be imprisoned for mismanagement or indeed dereliction of duty to shareholders!
