Not really one for specific timed sp predictions, but plausible good news from Brockham and HH could push the sp in that direction, but evident we need more then tanker news (unless they start getting half a dozen a day or something).

More details on flow rates may be required, after that will need planning consent from Surrey CC for further oil related gains it seems, so 2019 looking promising on that front -maybe January a bit optimistic, we will soon see.

TBS result could drop anytime, think most of us had hoped for December/Jan update but could come anytime before they draw up summer plans for Greenland which would probably be announced in April/May.

I can't quite make up my mind what to expect, their first work on TBS and RNS info looked great, the progress Bluejay have made looks great and news feedback to this board from the pre Xmas meeting seemed positive.

But at the same time I worry that they seem very reluctant Tweet or talk about it when before they posted a lot of generic Ilmenite information and TBS info through last year.

Could be just typical GF cautiousness as we approach results (pumping out info could be seen as confirming great results) but the odd bit of info about Ilmenite and TBS would have been reassuring over the last 6 months, a complete lack of it slightly concerns.

Agree - Amerisur are not a pure explorer desperate to prove up a singlet resource to sell on, they are backed by reserves, experience in the region, OBA pipeline, cash and other interests (including a potentially "transformational" farmout with oxy).

They will only sell off assets when they are proved up sufficiently to ensure an appropriate price.

Much to be proved but this is looking major.

Trying to pick the start and finish of a recession and gauge the specific effect it will have on o&g companies is for sector analysts and fund managers.

As a company they have already weathered the last oil price crash by strategically acquiring.

You can't run a resource company around that, and in any case there is an argument that the time to be proving up reserves and developing new discoveries is in recession or poo drop off (chuckle), so when you come out of it all ready to go.

True the stock market does not operate like that but the current sp here is under pinned by the current cash position and low cost operation and they have OBA, with capacity to sell on that others may need to reduce costs.

Positive news around Indico or the farmout will blow any short term economic/political negatives out of the water in my opinion.

I have warmed over time to the concept.

Decent amounts of gold have been extracted basically fumbling around in the dark, so seems very likely a more sophisticated approach would be successful in identifying more gold.

My concern is the process/planning to get it going more than funding or the practical aspects of opening up the mine or establishing a new mine even.

I have not followed Scotgold closely but my understanding is that they have had a fairly long and bumpy ride to get where they are as a single focus operation.

It is not the project my hopes are on but intrigued to see how it progresses as the bod seem very keen in it.

They are just confirming oil is there and the size of it, that is my understanding.

Yes Brockham been handled badly all along it seems - worrying when the usually deliberately incorrect objectors end up being a more reliable source of information than the operator - hope something there still worthwhile in the end.

And that is before you start contemplating the 1376 (unrisked) mmbo being targeted as part of the farm out.

Basically as graphene is exploited the need for graphite should increase.

There is a constant flux/battle between artificial graphite (more expensive, some none eco friendly bi products but better conductivity and supply lines unaffected by the issues that can effect mining) and natural graphite ( generally stronger, cheaper and more eco friendly but less reliable supply).

Graphene will l/does have many uses from electric vehicles through to sports equipment and now according to your link make up!.

Alba have already confirmed that commercial grade graphite can be obtained from Amitsoq, that there is a new discovery to analyse and the grades there are excellent.

But there is the question as to why it went from centre stage to back seat so quickly - my suspicion was that to push on with it would likely take deeper pockets than they have, so will need to put it on ice until income/sp allows for a fund raise or if they can entice a partner on board.

Hopefully we will see in 2019.

I won't make specific sp predictions but expect significant upward movement when milestones are met - until key targets are met or missed the doggy paddling sp is irrelevant to me.

We will know a lot more about TBS, HH and Brockham over the next few months.

I invested here originally for Amitsoq which has taken a back seat to TBS and Weald interests over the last year, understandably.

Still hopeful this will prove to be a very valuable asset though.

Medium term looks like graphite will be a major battery ingredient and should it be replaced with more advanced technology it is likely it will incorporate graphene and maybe Ilmenite - double bubble!

Before the Whatzone dude starts babbling on about artificial graphite or graphene being 1 atom thick it is scale that is relevant - there are so many graphene projects on the go that it will over time become very important to have access to natural high grade graphite as this is generally cheaper and stronger than artificial graphite.

Read again the Amitsoq RNS releases - grade is fantastic, and a new discovery to evaluate to increase scale potential.

Hard to "zone" out the white noise sometimes but I am sure most see though it.

One of things I have noted over the last year is increasing research into varying uses for Ilmenite which may be relevant to TBS - including potential for cheap batteries and solar panel coatings.

If you look back to about a year ago all the main projects have moved on significantly.

HH delivering short term income and within spitting distance of being full on commercial operation - recent SS interview, the plans recently submitted and endless stream of tankers can't be ignored.

Brockham been so frustrating and still is in a way, but proper activity onsite and production testing through 2019 should be exciting.

Results from TBS summer work should be known by spring and maybe enough for a maiden resource estimate which would be a significant milestone.

Clogau moving on at quite a pace, now fully owned and initial field work backing their concept.

Limerick to be drilled for Zinc - zinc has done really well over the last year and the licence is surrounded by lots of prospective activity.

Inglefield very early stage but tantalising early field work revealing a mineral signature often associated with copper porphyry deposits and then the news story suggesting a big asteroid impact right in their doorstep (often associated with big metal/mineral finds).

Looking forward to what 2019 holds - hope for news on Amitsoq progress/plans.

I am not chucking more in here but will hold now as cash position and fundamentals back up SP.

If anything else coemst good for me and I derisk half of what I take out has a good chance of coming here anywhere under 1.5.

I think great entrut price for those on the sidelines - growing business, protected tech and growing sectorand won't be needing to come to market any time soon (maybe never) - maybe important in turbulent times to come.

reading between the lines and in tune with some other posts - near break even, very healthy cash position and clearly a lot of progress made over the last 12 months with distribution deals, no way i am bailing at this price although obviously licking my wounds a bit here.
