Which projects drew you in and why?

If you know 0.15 is coming surely you sell and buy back in, increasing your holding for nothing? Or invest in a company you don't think is terrible? Come on, put your money where your mouth is Whatzone.

Before being sidetracked I was trying to allude to that possibility - we don't know if all last years cash was burnt through and how much of the 750k is left (and HH returns).

But there are significant unknowns - discussions on Amitsoq and TBS results which could both significantly change the situation.

I think as investors here though we have to concede they will soon need to outline the Greenland summer plans and to push those on in a meaningful way, they will need a decent chunk of cash from somewhere.

I was initially attracted by Amitsoq.

Did you ever explain how in a year of slagging the company off you went from about a million shares last spring to, what was it you recently boasted, 35m... Dear oh dear.

You may remember Whatzone form such classics as "HH is BS" and "this share will never see 0.5" just weeks before it hit 0.6.

How much do you think they will try and raise and what do you think they will target it at.

If they can't raise what do you think they will do.

I think we all know who posts without shares.

Fund raise is inevaitable - hardly rocket science.

The disappointment is the sp they will likely do it from (although no guarantee there is any support for this).

So unless we get a significant JV with cash injection (Amitsoq probably the only asset that is possible) the other options seem limited.

Debt (I have no issue with that generally) but in current position unlikely they A) would be able to borrow that much or B) get decent terms.

Announce awesome TBS news to fire SP before a raise - generally would have thought easier to get fund raise support before major announcements.

Slight chance they have been more frugal and forward thinking than we give credit for i. e. They had some of last springs money left, combined with HH money and autumn 750k have enough for very specific targeted work - maybe 1 - 1.5m

We will see soon enough - spring fast approaching.

Not expecting fireworks but hoped something interesting might surface.

I think your view is shared by a lot of investors in companies like this and is fair enough.

I think the mining update alluding to talks with interested parties on Amitsoq is promising, TBS has progressed quickly in my opinion and Ingelfield is very early stage exploration.

Not sure what the goal is with Limerick - looks like they are box ticking to keep the asset and maybe they feel it is worth a punt to drill and see if they can sell on.

Like dsfat, not sure I really get Melville Bay - talk in the past of a JV but rarely gets a mention these days.

The oil assets will hopefully bring in good revenues - Brockham so frustrating but not a mess of Alba's making.

The one I think they must deliver on relatively quickly is Clogau - they clearly want to mine and develop that themselves and have put a lot of effort into it - at times you would think it is their main interest. I am not as optimistic (more interested than I was when they first took it on) as been thorough so many pairs of hands without anything happening - we will see.

None of the projects are at a stage where they could give that sort of information.

From sampling and mapping you can then have several resource upgrades etc while environmental and feasibility studies are undertaken.

Then you have to go through planning and find off take partners etc before you can actually physically set anything up, and in northern Greenland you only have a short summer season to work in.

This is pretty standard, I have shares in more developed companies and they only ever seem to confirm step by step information, often with a vague generic aim.

And finally Alba simply do not have the funds to single handedly mine any of these as yet - I think their aim is to prove up and JV or sell on if possible.

Not really to do with shares or Alba but slight Greenland link, just tickled me - hoping Greenland day is productive at PDAC

Seems unlikely to me that China would find it straight forward to gain a foot hold in Greenland, but I have no understanding of how much "control" having the air base at Thule really gives USA.

The articles below hint at that being more to do with Denmakr (national security) - so if increased mining gives Greenland evermore Independence, then it could throw up all-sorts of oddities - Chinese mining next to a USA airbase, fun times.

Does anyone have a view on the Cobalt aspect to Havieron.

Not sure if of significance, minor side show or thrown almost like a hash tag to grab some extra interest.

Bit weird - the only other person to accuse me of suggesting specific 1p 2p short term targets is WO..... By the way I have never made any such claims but obviously invest here in the hope of long term returns - the projects are further along than they were when I first started buying so contentish for now.
