PYX Resources: Achieving volume and diversification milestones. Watch the video here.
Rhodi agree, but you are being far too kind describing most of the naysayers as investors.
There is so much cr@p ont this board today.
If you invested in Amerisur for this one high risk well then you really should not be investing.
Disappointing result but does not undo the constant stream of good news pretty much since the Autumn.
You think OXY are in for the best part $100m for fun. Jeez.
The future demand of oil is likely to be more resilient than many think - energy supply changes will have a big impact but the use of oil away from energy is near ubiquitous and very hard to be replace - the world will need reliable oil supplies a long time after EVs rule the roads.
I think BP recently released a report citing low cost producers as the best placed for the future, which should include Amerisur.
If we end up in a world where it is no longer economically viable to extract oil, what will all our products be made of - phones? clothes? Wind turbine blades? Synthetic graphite for batteries and graphene?
Sentiment will return to oil stocks when the future is clearer.
Yes been a good news week
The initial results form TBS do not materially change anything but were positive and the update is appreciated - hopefully not too long for full results and potential maiden JORC. Nicely timed with a recent positive Bluejay RNS.
The current approach by Angus is refreshing and I am now more hopeful of the near term prospects at Brockham than I was. If they can achieve something similar to HH there that 5% could prove very useful (whether sold off or as an income generator).
And the director buying is one of things that has been missing here for me so Was very pleased to see it although not exactly mammoth chunks, as Yanis points out paying a premium is of relevance. Both have decent amounts of shares i. e. They need this do go well.
Hi ivans - not noticed you on this board before.
They had 2 fund raises last spring and one in the Autumn and some revenue from HH.
Would be very surprised if they have more than 1m left but equally surprised if less than 500k.
Lots of info to come over the next month or so.
I think the Maiden JORC for Bluejay was around mid 30s THM, if so positive news so far, espcialy looking at dsfat's post from the TBS 2017 RNS.
Agree some context would be helpful within this RNS - maybe we will get an interview, feels like this has been put out to quell a bit of criticism on news flow.
We are due TBS results, summer Greenland plans, Brockham/HH news seems fairly regular at the moment, confirmation of permits for Limerick drills, possible more details on parties interested in Amitsoq may surface and the elephant in the room - funding.
No idea where SP will end up on those variables.

Over and out for me tonight - apologies for board clogging (never feed the troll, my bad) - hopefully most of this will be gone tomorrow.

Amitsoq results so far very promising re flake / grade.
You'll have to excuse WZ - he dislikes me a lot for exposing him several times.
His favourite for sometime had been to claim owning 35m shares since Nov 17 - turns out he posted about only owning 1m in spring 2018.
He also liked to claim HH was "BS" , although doesn't seem to be (fingers crossed for next round of planning) yet also kept saying he was only in for HH.
Some pretty glaring consistency issues.
That is all in between ranting and insulting pretty much everyone on the board and a never ending slating of Alba in meaningless one line clichés that you'll see spouted by each resident deramper that infests every board.
Assume using a new name to hide his posting history - all pretty futile.
It will come but oil is essential for so much - the petro-chemical industry is vast.
The world needs oil for day to day life so this has to be kept at a profitable price for those that get it out of the ground, pretty much until we run out of the stuff.
Growth in EV and a reduction in SOME plastics will effect demand but not end the use of it - oil demand still going up year by year.
Hope so Joey - hard to gauge short term, something has to give between now and end April re where funding is coming from, Greenland summer plans, TBS results etc.
Dream scenario would be some partnership on Amitsoq but unsure how likely that is, but to specifically mention being in discussion with interested parties is hopefully meaningful.
Quite interesting - worth a listen, but very lithium and China focused discussion, for good reason.
I had not not really clocked the long range nature of China's strategy here and agree the rest of the world is lagging due to corporate dogma versus state backed political action.
Although not sure they grasp the ubiquitous nature of oil use and why it is likely to be a more resilient resource than some think, long after EVs have become the dominent vehicle choice.
And one last one for the future (some suggest emerging battery technologies will limit the demand for graphite in a decade or two)

And also EV not the only fruit.
