There's probably a balance now while a few LTHs take some profits, and some others pick them up.
The SP is only going to rise when people start buying decent amounts. Just because BTC goes up, why should the MMs raise the price? As soon as buyers come in, we should expect to see a bit more action. Another good RNS should help wake things up.
It is a bit frustrating seeing this temporarily disconnect with BTC, but all the recent news underpins the quality of the business, so I'm very confident and happy to hold.

Late trades are only booked late. The actual transaction happens when the market is open between 0800 and 1630, so it will affect the price. They are usually entered late because someone forgot, or is trying to confuse the rest of us.

Argobull, that's very interesting. $600k a month is not to be sniffed at.

Unfortunately it's looking like a scooting dog at the moment.

I had to buy a book of first class stamps, but it didn't seem to move the SGI price.

This is from the RNS on Jan 29th, so by the end of Q2 they will have 1,685 PH which should be fully functional for the whole of July. The number of machines is not that important, just the computing power shown as PH.

The machines, which were ordered in November 2020 and delivered ahead of schedule, will add approximately 127 petahash to the company's existing mining fleet, bringing the Company's total installed computing power to 772 petahash. By the end of Q2 2021, Argo's total installed mining power will total 1,685 petahash or 1,68 exahash. The remainder of the 10,000 machines required to achieve this target are on order and expected to be delivered in batches between February and June, as previously announced.

Phoebus, I don't dispute that, but if there are no new buyers, any significant BTC rise will not be fully/fairly reflected in the SP.

Today's RNS was not news, just confirmation of what most expected.
It confirms that all the rigs are up and running and we are still using Fiat from recent fund raising to pay the bills, so all good.
Anyone can project these numbers, within reason, so the price was not likely to move today.
If there is still a seller lurking we may well be held back, but we need new blood to increase demand and the SP. The only real way for that to change is for the UK market to wake up (Unlikely!) or NASDAQ.

I use a fag packet calculation which suggested 169 BTC for March giving an SP of 243p with BTC at 58K.
The next delivery of rigs will be fully reflected in the end of July figures. Using my method, I'm predicting/guessing 257 BTC and an SP of 542p with BTC at 86K . Obviously I can only guess BTC, but at 100k I estimate SP at 619p.
Feel free to pull my numbers to bits, but I won't reply. Just wait until August, which counts out quite a few on this BB who don't have the patience........
