Jungerns - oil companies hate owning equipment as its an asset and a depreciable cost on their books.

It does sound illogical, but they prefer renting equipment including rigs (except for the offshore platforms).

You don't bring that piece of equipment on to site if you're not mobilising and rigging up the well test package.

JA51 - "testing the well" which you do on any drilled well whether new or 30 years old......so one again no issue

This is the first time the Kimmeridge has been tested at Brockham aka new reservoir ....which means....you have to prove its commercially viable and collect data which is then included as part of the adjusted Field Development Plan to include the Kimmeridge ....hence the used word "Addendum" which means an item of additional material added at the end of a book or other publication.

Like choosing a bolt on package to your monthly phone contract ....still the same contract.

No where in the OGA letter does it state that any further drilling or sidetracking is to be suspended or halted. That letter pertains to ensuring lessons were learnt by Angus due to the confusion over which well was which. Nothing more....

Personally I would use a rate of 1,000bopd. Set yourself a benchmark and then anything above it is a bonus. I've used 1,000bopd in reflection of what HH saw just from the Upper and Lower Kim layer tests in 2016.

One also has to remember the HH well tests are not using a well that was specifically drilled to produce from the Kimmeridge. Brockham well was specifically drilled to produce from the Kimmeridge.

What is the difference between Brockham and HH?

Brockham is deviated where as HH isn’t.
Brockham has more exposure to the limestone than HH.
Brockham was drilled as a Kimmeridge producer with the correct sized hole for optimum production. HH drilled through Kimmeridge section with much larger hole due to well design assessing deeper reservoirs beneath it.
Brockham drilled with correct drilling fluid for producing from Kimmeridge. HH used wrong drilling fluid as deeper reservoirs were the objective.

Baits - Brockham is allowed 6 wells (that’s 6 surface wellheads). Currently there are 3 surface wells. As you say the other 2 can be converted to Kimmeridge producers.

I would spend the money wisely and focus on Brockham as that will give the biggest return in comparison to Lidsey.

Baits - every sidetrack costs differently, so you just can't pluck a figure of 250k out of the sky. All depends on where you initiate the sidetrack (which casing do you exit the current well) and how many hole sizes / casing strings are required.

The best well to sidetrack would be the BRX3 well, which BP originally drilled and has now become a water injector. Whether they drill out of 9 5/8" casing, drill 8 1/2" hole, run 7" liner before drilling the Kimmeridge with a 6" hole before running liner and complete.

It would take approximately 10 days. Angus only pay 65% of the well costs. So it wont be a costly outlay.

Angus will perform the EWT and from those results plan the best location for the sidetrack well. I'm sure the planning has already started, but it would be prudent to get the initial results back from the EWT. No point rushing things.

Baits - issue with BB is not the formation, but how they actually drilled it twice. Used poor Oilfield Drilling Practices.

Do you know how many HGV movements are planned for the mobilisation and rig up prior to perforating? I do, and not from the board but from the Council Planning officer. So Saturday isn't a full day and Sunday no HGV's are able to access the site....so you expect an armada to arrive today and a crane can offload them all, spot them, rig up the equipment, get power to the cabins, mix chemicals, pressure test, recover tubing, run completion string, then perforation guns and then boom.....and all in a couple of days?!?! Looooooooong sigh.

And lets not get started on why they haven't accessed the NEX bonds as you said they could.....lol

Jonese - perforations won't happen this week.....following weekend is a good estimate if the wagon trains keep rolling in with equipment this week.
