Exclusive: Balcombe test boost for Angus Energy as oil flows

In an exclusive video interview with London South East, Angus Energy Managing Director Paul Vonk said he was delighted that Balcombe well test results had exceeded expectations. The 7 day well test showed a flow of 850 bpd and then 1600 bpd. This included a percentage of water, which is thought to be entering from a later fracture and can be dealt with said Mr Vonk.

Commenting on the positive Horse Hill results, also released yesterday, Mr Vonk made the point that all the Angus Energy wells are flowing from the same large oil reservoir in the Weald Basin which stretches from the South London borders broadly all the way down to the South coast.
