Rodders - nobody drills a 12 1/4" production well in the industry ....very simple...you drill small holes. Sigh

How have I knocked HH when I went into great detail t say how BB was not a disaster....drilling wise yes, but its not a formation issue, just as I went on the HH board back in February when the SP tanked to say all you need to do is drill another side track at BB using Good Drilling Practices. The Kimmeridge wasn't a target..that is so obvious from the well design where UKOG wanted to target deeper zones.

As for HH you can't see past your blinkers when I tell you why the 2016 flow rates were great considering how the well was not optimised for production. But hey...when I don't see too many posts on this board saying how great the potential is. Why is that?

Rodders - if HH observed great flow rates with a well that has a 12 1/4" hole, wrong angle and used reservoir unfriendly drilling additives...then just imagine the flow rates Angus will observe after they drilled Brockham to optimise production rates.

Willow - how can the production tubing be too small at Brockham when they haven't even ran it?!?! Sigh

Angus will have looked at the data from Balcombe and I would imagine will run larger diameter pipe at Brockham.

Brockham will run Tubing Conveyed Perforations on tubing, set it in place and then perforate. The the guns will be released and will drop to the bottom of the well. And then the well can flow immediately.....a lot quicker than at HH.

Read all the comments on that Twitter link posted and see how Wealdoilers are corrected using an UKOG RNS.....looong sigh.
Shame they didn't drill the well for optimised well testing let alone production.

Weahterfords Ultra Wave tool mapped all the fractures and thats why Angus will be perforating a continues fractured zone of 200m or 656ft. The limestones are connected by fractured interconnected shale which acts like the pipework or plumbing. So if the oil can go up through these fractures then yes..they can go vie the soon to be perforated well.

For the folk who are newly invested in Angus or the old timers who have forgotten watching it then here is a Angus behind the scenes at Brockham which gives a good view of the site itself, its size, why its so difficult to photograph and most importantly...it's potential.

If I was a UKOG PI then i would take my money out of UKOG and invest in Angus, make a tidy profit and then reinvest it in UKOG next year at a lower price. More shares and recoup some of their losses.

I'm interested to see the forward plan for the Balcombe well as the 2 month shut in period should have ended circa 2nd December.

Changing out the production tubing to a larger diameter sized tubing would prevent the slugging observed during the well test when rates of 3,000bopd were achieved over a 1,600ft horizontal section of the Upper Kimmeridge Limestone (KL4).

I think BigRobbo is talking about the school conversation with the Balcombe Test Liaison Group when they discussed no truck movement during school hours.

Vonk said "There will be traffic management in place with a strict plan co-coordinated by Eclipse Security. There will be movement Monday – Friday between 7.30am and 6.30pm and Saturday mornings with the exception of school hours. There will be no movement to interrupt the schools."

If you look at the times Bug posted its already been accounted for at Brockham. No movement between 8am-9am and 3:30pm-6pm

AJ - because both the crane and rig were always scheduled for the well test. If Angus say they are going to use a rig...then expect a rig. Loooong sigh.

The rig will come when they are ready. It's not going to be parked up at the site waiting as it will be racking up rental costs. Plus you can't hide a rig even with the mast down. The mast can only be raised below a certain wind speed.

Tiptop - I'm fully aware of that, but are you fully aware of what Brockham Parish Council said after meeting Angus Energy Consultant in November?

"Three parish councillors were invited to meet the consultant working with Angus
Energy to give us an update on the developments on the site.This also gave us an
opportunity to ask some pertinent questions. They are planning to carry out a ` workover` of well BRX4Z. They have permission to install a 95 foot rig but consider that a 55 foot one will do the work which will put in tubing for testing. This is due to start at about the end of the month and probably last for about four weeks.....'

Hence why I am saying there needs to be a rig first.

This was mentioned multiple times on here in the past 4-5 days.

A crane is not a rig.

How do you know the rig is there?

Oil industry works 365 days of the year. You plan weeks in advance for kit to arrive and yes that includes reviewing the weather. Offshore you have to account for the sea state and whether the cranes can work in a certain heave.

I would like to think Angus have accounted for this and all equipment that needed to be spotted with the heavy duty crane is on site.

The crane has wind limitations due to boom angle and weight of load.

Chambers - the honest answer is that if you look at a lot of the decisions made since the IPO.....you just shake your head as they have been very poor.

Does that affect what should happen next week....then the answer is no. But the Angus score card would be 3 out of 10.

The oil is still in the ground...slightly older than I had hoped it would be lol. So very shortly we should have some transformational news. Brockham has been drilled for optimised production covering the 2 main limestones and the interbedded shale that acts like the plumbing connecting the 2 limestones.

Only thing that would delay the rig is the wind above a certain speed if a crane was required. Oil workers are tougher than snowflakes lol

I must say they are not very efficient unlike at Balcombe. Seems they were waiting on some equipment from HH before starting...but that is splitting hairs.

Main thing is that if the rig were to arrive today then we should have perforated by this time next week.

What folk want to see is the rig arriving at Brockham. We have had too many false dawns with expected start dates.
The arrival of the emergency flare stack, PW Well Test truck and more portable lighting is a positive step.

The rigs arrival is highly significant, as it starts the count down to the perforations. Then investors know the timetable.
