It wouldn’t surprise me now if we got the last couple of agreements rubber stamped in the next week or two with the suggestion of a June start date for the trial. Would seem to make sense with Jason taking up his new job on 1st June. What’s the odds JM is booked on trip to Antwerp 1st week of June for a couple of weeks!!

Will be very interesting if the new CEO is someone from one of the major shipping companies or oil majors! Looks going on here behind closed doors and all very positive language in the RNS :)

Totally agree. To me I see this as a fairly obviously sign that all projects are now GO GO GO and he just doesn’t have enough time to be doing everything. He is needed where the projects are starting and running so a very wise management change I would agree.

The good news is the next few times we get big percentage rises due to progress we are at least building from 4.5-5p at present and not 1.5p. It wouldn’t take a lot to hit double digits now. A couple of nice RNS and a few good days or rises and we would comfortably be there.

This is true but I do assume there will be a snow ball effect once the marine trial is up and running. It’s basically a massive thumbs up that there could be hubs of production globally so we may see all sorts of projects, marine and power jumping onboard. Biggest thing I am intrigued in is who this other big shipping company is that they could announce anytime.

Anyone sensing this is ready to pop on the next RNS?

Also compared to the Maersk trial, this time around seems a fair bit more laboured or is it just more complicated and comprehensive as there is genuine planning for a full roll out of all their fuels immediately post trial. The longer the wait the more it seems as if this is planned and the marine, power and Utah projects will all initiate at pretty much the same time.

I sense JM is quite mindful that shareholders get frustrated in these quiet spells and maybe put this out to settle the nerves. Either that or he is trying to get a tiny bit more publicity before some big RNS coming our way. What would be the best RNS to land now? The Cargill bilateral agreement?

Totally. Although we must be due an RNS any day now. Give us all something to talk about at least.

Isn’t that most things though! They don’t control what Cargill, MSC or Mac 2 do so hopefully those guys are all as keen as QED to get this trial started.

Definitely seems that way. Pretty sure they will already have sent the equipment out there as it’s a binding agreement so the trial will go ahead and if it didn’t I’m sure there is something in there to reimburse QED all costs. Do we still think May is a realistic target for first fuelling? So much news to come but the wait is frustrating!!

Definitely feels like Utah is ramping up a bit now. As far as update we have had a LinkedIn post every week now for quite a while so it will be interesting to see what’s on the agenda this week:)

I’d like to think the team all had a nice Easter weekend off and spent time recharging ready for the next big push for the company which could be an extremely busy few weeks/months. The final QED marine agreement can’t be long now considering they said that the detail was essentially done in November within the tripartite agreement.

So if QED do get these fuels off the ground and become an established company working with multiple global companies, what do we think an oil major would need to offer to buy them out? I would assume we would be well on our way to £1 by then so what’s people’s thoughts on a buyout price?

Me too. Although I honestly think it won’t be long now before we finally see double figures again. The next 2 months should be, if even half goes to plan, a good 2 months of project updates/starts.

That’s good. For some reason though it was the first few days in May not mid May. That seems very doable still.

RNS today seems unlikely so you feel next week is a big week for us. If we want to be loading fuel onto the ship at the very start of May you would assume realistically we would need to get the final contracts wrapped up next week. If we do get an RNS then it would almost feel as if they are all aiming for the May date as the start date.

I’m not so sure 50p would be years in the making. If they are commercial with MSC, Panama, Honduras, Morocco and Utah in 1 or 2 years time I would think the price would be pretty decent by then.

Feel like I’m married to this share now. Even if it hits £1 I think I’d find it hard to sell 🤦‍♂️
