it's amazing what you can find on Marinetraffic in a tea break from mowing teh lawn Saipem shows as a port with arrivals and departures - tehera re current 2 vessels at Saupem Vos Prime and Purpose. last 4 arrivals/depatures are availbable. https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/data/?asset_type=arrivals_departures&columns=shipname,port_name,move_type,ata_atd,origin_port_name,ship_type&port_in|begins|SAIPEM%2012000|port_in=23699 Vos Puropse arrived Saipem 20th 14:51 Vos Purpose departed Saipem 20th 18:49 Vos Purpose arrived Saipem 21st 08:49 Vos Prime arrived Saipem 21st at 9:43
I pointed out this morning that for the previous 24 hours (up to 10 ish this morning) Vos Prime was steaming SW-NE at ~ 7 kn then back NE- SW at sub 1 kn repeatedly. It did it first to the NW of Saipem and to then to the SE at an offset of a few Km. The end of this behaviour is still visible on https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:-7.408/centery:34.408/zoom:15 if you select Vos Prime and display its historic track of last 24 hrs. Aim4Utopia convinced me the speed changewas a tidal thing. Is it ? Could I have been right about the VSP ?
Aim, I accept your greater experience and would welcome your interpretation of Vos Prime's movements - including 3 visits to Saipem in last day or so... https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/index/itineraries/all/shipid:2818051/mmsi:236661000/shipname:VOS%20PRIME/page:1/per_page:50
https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:-7.408/centery:34.408/zoom:15 Turn on track options and you'll see that for last 24 hours Vos Prime has sailed in a SW-NE pattern. Looks like they may be shooting a VSP or something.
I hold ~370K shares and had a plan to de-risk by taking out my entire stake money and just letting my profit run. On a duster at RD-1, I would have used all my retrieved stake to buy back in for Namibia. On a success at RD-1, I'd probably have been kicking myself for not having the balls to stay fully invested. My planned exit point was 28-32. I blame nobody but myself for not de-risking at 23.... as I am now underwater.
