Agazzis, I personally can’t see them doing split RNS releases, it will likely be one RNS with all the data from both zones.

Got to assume crusty that the max out of SP will be Friday, not a given news lands first trading day of the week but is often the case for big news so anticipation of that will be high

I was expecting an RNS to inform the market of commencement of EWT, judging by the SP this week others are not. Can someone experienced within the industry comment on whether it is common practice to RNS the commencement of such event or only the results ? Thanks in advance.

I’ve followed HE1 for many years and their journey has been remarkable. Through all the ups and downs it feels like everything is now lining up perfectly.

You have to praise them as deepening the well and getting all the EWT equipment to site is no small undertaking. It is very impressive to see that image today on X. Shawz I never stated that would all be recoverable from one well. Simply that HE1 have potentially found the largest ever helium source, the EWT along with all other sub surface modelling etc will tell us how much is recoverable from ITW-1. It may be small it may be massive, safe to say if they get expected results there will be no worry regarding funding future wells.

Crusty, regarding your comment about expectations, I think that’s why I personally don’t think they will release any detailed data from deepening the well. We have our original data, by telling the market they had a new figure of helium it would only raise expectations for the EWT.

They will all be contractually binded to not share any images or details of the site as it could be seen as insider trading. If any of the drilling operators posted anything they would never work in the industry again.

Everything you’re saying Pete is true, it is not a conventional process here. The gas could potentially be finding its way through the basement for hundreds of years if it is travelling through cracks within the basement across the East African rift system, but right now there is no accurate way to determine that metric. One would assume if they get high flow rates over the EWT, and with their knowledge of the geology of the basement and the other formations then there is a massive untapped source of helium for many decades to come. There is risks, if the flow rates are poor then that will not be good, but if the flow rates are very good then the potential here is exponential.
