Laverda,
Thank you. I guess the issue, for me, is to understand what it might be for a company to qualify for a broker rating. Or, what are they looking to see that spurs them on to offer a rating? Not expecting an answer. Just getting my muddled thoughts out there for posterity! For when we hit the jackpot and want to go back and have a laugh at some of my postings (or all of them!)
Hi Laverda, I'll see if I can find some of these ratings from people who live in sheds! Could you say anything about why LSE hasn't put anything on the KOD broker ratings? Maybe I'm asking too much? If so, apologies.
How, or when, are we going to get a broker rating? I know, I mentioned it before, but I'm still not understanding how it all works. I would have expected at least a "speculative buy" rating based on what we already know. Anyone able to educate me on the matter?
Morning all,
I guess BA is reading this BB after all! I've been begging for an update recently.
In the RNS, it states:-
"In addition, we have been undertaking a review of our existing Feasibility Study
to upgrade costs and estimates to reflect current expectations and best practices. This work has
included a review of our proposed treatment plant plans undertaken with a major Chinese consulting and construction group, to update our original capital estimates and look to improve our flowsheet and metallurgical recoveries. Results of this important work are expected by the end of January 2022".
That reads to me like they are gearing up for spod 5! Anyone see that? Or do I book another session with my analyst?
Cuckoo!
Hi GRAGI, I'm not aware of any developments that can contribute to the share price drop and, if there were, I'm sure someone would be only too happy to highlight so we can all jump out! Like yourself, I'd like to hear some news, an RNS or any news about developments. Yet, alas, BA has refused to answer my petitions. Probably doesn't read this board as often as I thought he might! I'm still confident that I am invested in a sound company here and that it will come good in its own time. All best wishes, AJ
Good afternoon,
Nicely put Laverda. Of course everyone has their own goals in terms of what price they might sell at. I posted a while back about a 1p exodus and still feel that many (unless 1p is achieved and there is more good news expected relatively simultaneously) that will still be the case. For me, I can't say what my sell price might be except that I would want reasonable compensation for being in early and taking the risk that others shy away from. I will continue to review my position as I expect everyone else to. Hope everyone closes with their aspirations being met.
Hi Koffee,
I think this board has been fairly reserved in trying to assign various methods of skulduggery and the shrinking share price, thankfully. I wonder why we don't seem to get price monitoring when shares head south? Any thoughts on that? To be honest, I really don't know what purpose it is supposed to serve and wonder why or under what circumstances it might be activated. Anyone have a very simple and straight forward answer?
Afternoon all,
There are many conspiracy theories surrounding SP price drops and IF you want a master class, can I suggest you visit GGP share chat and you will have the opportunity to read about all possibilities and, the refutations to those theories! I've just added a few more here (twice, and those with T212 will see when, as it creates spikes in the sp, if we are all looking at the same picture, that is) with a small magazine of ammo to throw in if the price gets any lower. Don't forget, BA is in the same boat as us and I think he'll bail like the dickens to prevent a capsize. I'm off down the pub for an hour, or two, so have a good weekend and stay well. AJ
Hi Laverda,
You have already read this, I imagine, but others may not have. I think it gives an insight into what is at stake and options for producers versus those entities seeking to access the product.

Not saying that auction is likely to be an option for KOD but it would be interesting to see that option as a viable means to maximise value. The other standout point for me is that there is an intent from buyers to make long term commitments which could leave the unwary in a future disadvantaged situation. Assuming the price continues to rise.
Morning Laverda,
I am hoping BA is also imagining the 100% value, and without share dilution. It would be great to get an indicator of deals but who will show their cards first? I could only imagine someone wanting to show if they think it will make them more appealing to the likes of KOD. Kind of a message to say "hold your horses", you might want to talk to us before signing anything. So, yes, lets see if one surfaces!
Hi Laverda,
An off take for me. BA isn't (apparently) listening to my amateur advice so far! Maybe he will post something to make me think again? Still doing alright though. in my opinion, but would very much like him to talk to us (me) about ongoing developments where the rules allow. Talk to me (us) Bernard!
Have a good night, now I've said my prayers!
Afternoon Real Talk,
I will, no doubt, be coming across as being rather thick here but could you pinpoint when it was announced that there will be dilution of shares? Not a favourite strategy of mine.
All best wishes, AJ
Afternoon all,
I think they don't want to give anything away, price wise, not wanting to set a precedent at least until the product is moved into the supply chain. I'm thinking that there is a preference for making each deal starting with a clean slate in order to try and keep the price down. Wouldn't this be a sign that the price of Lithium is going to continue north due to an increasing demand? Any thoughts on the matter? Happy to take a direct response from BA, if he has a moment!
Evening All,
Just wanted to say Dan, that I am in a similar situation and swimming in a sea of red at the moment, but not nearly as significant as yourself. I only have a couple of thousand and change invested in the stock market but I didn't put it in to see it evaporate!
I walked into this investment thinking it's a go'er and have not changed my mind. I do FEEL, however, that BA has tied his shirt to the mast with this one as he has gone down the shares route and not looked to cream off a higher salary during the process. I think he knows he needs to deliver the goods and his career and reputation depend on this, however long that might be.
Surely he doesn't want to leave a legacy of having duped retail investors? The next five months will tell all and I am happy to maintain my trust in him. Lets look forward to a positive future.
Keep well, AJ
Hi Comeonbernie,
Your name is most poignant! Well, BA has said they have been in discussions with numerous parties. Hopefully not just attending numerous parties! I have said previously that I am in no hurry to see progress as I understand this is, by its very nature, a slow moving process and have to keep reminding myself of the Lasonde Curve as a means of keeping it real in my mind. I would like him to engage more with media and not just so we can look upon his pretty face, but to give assurances that he is still confident that he and his colleagues remain on track and focused. Laverda has offered up a few possible scenarios as to how this will be financed and they all seem plausible. What do you think yourself? A loan, A JV, A bung of cash to sign up, or perhaps (and I hope not) more share dilution, or something else, maybe a combination?
