Great insight itisagame.. Makes you realise this share is worth far north of the current .5p (£270k) price tag. So let’s say 1p for a base line comes to around £540k. As we seen last week this can turn in minutes. Own 1.45% of this with only £4,050 just shows you people can buy 3% TR1 of this for around £8k! Mental lol
Goes to show much worse co’s valued at multiples of what we are at. Bottom line here the way I see it with cash coming in of around £500k without any twists along the way, we should be valued at a minimum of .9-1p tbh. When we get updated with the figures that have landed into the accounts. GLA
Ombrina Mare arbitration update
Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the oil and gas company with key interests in the North Falkland Basin, provides the following update on its international arbitration against the Republic of Italy in relation to the Ombrina Mare field.
As announced in the Company's half-year report on 30 September 2021, Italy made a request, and the Tribunal agreed, to admit a recent European Court of Justice judgment related to intra-EU Energy Charter Treaty disputes, and to reconsider its 2019 decision to reject Italy's intra-EU jurisdictional challenge in the arbitration. The Tribunal had requested Rockhopper's legal advisers to respond by 6 October 2021.
On 21 December 2021, the Company was informed that the Tribunal had rejected Italy's request.
Rockhopper continues to believe it has strong prospects of recovering very significant monetary damages - on the basis of lost profits - as a result of the Republic of Italy's breaches of the Energy Charter Treaty. All of Rockhopper's costs associated with the arbitration to date have been funded on a non-recourse ("no win - no fee") basis from a specialist arbitration funder.
Appreciate the honesty. Fundamentals here are insane. GBP cheapest oil co listed in London. Look at all the recent TR1’s Afzal + UAE investor for example. I just can’t get my head around why Total and Shell would invest most likely close to £100m to spud wells simultaneously when common sense would lead me to wait in the tall grass to see if anything commercial is down there before throwing good money at it. Much less risk elsewhere but I believe they know oil is flowing down in that deep basin. This is my only oil investment actually. I’ll give you a follow mate GL to you too
To be honest I would do the same if I was fortunate enough to be in your position. Again very impressive. I hold just over 7m shares myself could you let me know your twitter username I’m sure other holders on here too would appreciate your views. I’ll give you a follow
Congrats Dave. 812m shares in issue and you own 24m meaning you have taken 2.95% of the company. Another 1m would take you above 3% tomorrow morning making you a Major Shareholder and having to issue a TR1 is that the plan.
