It could be transformational. We know two things heading into the year end. Minimal financial debt in a very long time if ever. One that city use to complain is now address. Many complained about margin being low, this has increased from start of the year 3.1% to 4.5% at end of June 2024. So expecting that to be around low to mid 5% which is potentially margin improvement of around 70% since start of the year. We have government looking to invest in public services and we have sameer from AWS to drive AI. We have schroder holding 20% + plus for the first time, (touchwood they keep it there and not trade it) other companies in the sector have seen their share doubled since covid. So this one's lagging. Question is, when to position, having watched the yellow stone interview, I feel a major contract could be signed in hy2 and if we don't, then expecting business to sign contracts now budget policy is out as many would have been hesitant pre budget. When does santa rally start. Soo much to think about here imho

@jamesoxford, it would be wrong off me to keep short open over the weekend with the stock volatility. I had short target just under 19 and now closed out. I began accumulating on Friday, hopefully I can pick up some cheap stock to build up reasonable volume. Good luck! 😉

When the sp was around 21p many thought, under 20p was long gone. Is this an opportunity presenting itself again? Were around a month away from results. How will the city take it. Debt at minimal, margins higher and profit higher. Imho

@trisor, accumulating! For all the years of waiting. We can see matrix relevant to shareholders being addressed by AH. Debt margin profitability. Just need to reinvest to drive revenue. It would be disappointing to miss the boat having waited this long, if that moment of stock appreciation is now. So could be life long regret if this is the moment. Only time will tell. Want to keep a foot in the game imho

Don't discourage him, I am happy to take up @jamesoxford shares, and am sure trenners is too. Hoping to get more shares than what I had before I sold. Took some of broomtrees on Friday where he has stated 'Well I'm sorry to see this but that's me out, I have a simple policy' (broomtree, 1st Nov 2024). 😉

I initially shared the same views as xenor, with financing, I felt it would be granted, because the benefits of offering the funding was far greater, jobs, apprentice, shipbuilding in the UK, growth, transfer of skills from navantia etc. The delays with gas caverns verdict and financing dragging, you could almost guess, delays is never a good sign, both went against the company. It was just dragged however long it could go. I have to say, consuela constant reminder was enough for me to sell out. And I really do thank consuela for that otherwise I'd have been completely wiped out here. As mad as it sounds, I had around £50 k invested. Some had lot more invested here. So mustav been devasting for those who stuck around. Xenor, you even had the chance to invest in capita when it was around 13 -14p but you stuck around here, if only.you had sold out here and bought over there. You'd have been quids in and feeling alot better knowing that harls going bust so investing anywhere would have to been added bonuses to be still in the game. That's hindsight for you. I'm sure your going through multiple emotions to recovery. Youll get there im sure Imho

The point worst raising is, the government wants to fix the public sector, using taxes and borrowings. We have a division full of public sector contract. Will they throw money at capita. Interesting question to ask imho

Further to my comment, the more number of staff reduced the more savings capita makes on labour cost which happenrd to have increased following the recent budget announcement. More incentive to drive those numbers down imho

It is fair to say, most business will see reduction in margins and then profitability. So AH decision to cut jobs in jan 2024 by 900 was a crucial decision. Since his appointment, he's made changes to drive efficiency and be more lean. To increase the margin from 3.1% to 4.5% hy1 2024. The reduction in revenue, has been due to company bidding for contracts which offers better margin. Now had they bid for contracts with slim margin just to increase revenue, the margin would have shrunk with the recent NI increase. So it does seem, the approach AH has taken puts the company ahead with the changes.

I think with the use of AI to replace back office staff to deal with repeated task may give the business a competitive edge to win contracts compared to other bidders who may not be advanced with the use of AI.

What will benefit the company is to have lowest financial net debt and I believe thers no pension payment next year.

As for the budget, the tax collected may allow capita to win more contracts within NHS or HMRC.

So yeah risk reward, doesn't look too bad, lower debt also reduces interest payments. The more thay can drive staffing levels down and replace with AI. The cheaper this stock will look

I have started accumulating. I think market seems to have digested the budget. Volume has dropped with few AT trades. Share price looks stable imho

Sentiment in the market is starting to change. Government borrowing starting to ease, ftse turning positive. Could the SP change. Keep an 🧐 imho
