When market is going through correction, the market doesn't care about fundamentals. Just look at the shorters, qube and actus, if this was the bottom, why arnt shorters closing their position? The PIs calling this the bottom When they thought the bottom was at higher price when they purchased. So clearly they want it to be bottom to avoid nursing further paperloss. What's worrying is, if market tumbles, where the price is now, we could hit new lows. Its Not out of the question. What's the percentage drop needed to hit new lows. Not much when ftse can drop from 8300 to 8000 and still be at level seen start of 2024. What's almost certain is Inflation and bond market are rising imho

This could one of the most volatile week. I'm fully expecting bond market in the 10 year yield to be above 5%, pound to be around 1.(teens) against dollar and equities on their knees. One of the exciting Week of 2025 coming up for shorters. Could we see 12s here imho

This has been a debate, inflation has been high, so yoi would think revenue would rise with Inflation. Just like how in other industries the cost is transferred to clients or customers so they've been able to get more revenue for same amount of goods. Capita has seen a high single digit decline in inflationary environment plus losing the inflationary increase in charging client and customers which is roughly 4% on Conservative basis equating to potential loss in revenue by double digits imho best way to work this out is. Look at 2024 revenue expectations. And find the deference between 2024 revenue and 2023 revenue (2023 rev x 4% (inflation)) to see real terms decline in revenue. Savage could you do the calculaitons to give real percentage revenue decline factoring inflation? Plz imho

@nofear, higher bond price, should lead to higher savings rates. Increasing ur return for sitting on the sidelines stress free... whilst others are nursing paperloss and crawling into a long tunnel where light at the end of the in UK.and global markets are some way away imho

@savage, US inflation is predicted to rise from 2.7% to 2.9% whilst the UK is expected to see it flat above the target. These numbers could likely to rattle the pound and bond market. Imho

Isn't this going to affect public sector spending 🤔 imho

@xciteless, many people would like this to be the bottom. The worrying thing is, alot of other stock, had risen when market has been good and falling when markets are down. With capita, the price has dropped when market has been good, so when market gets worse. Imagine would could happen. Imho

@savage, have to give credit where its due. You called the market correction. What were seeing is probably just that. Yes, next week could be very volatile. I kept my short into trumps inauguration when tariffs are announced. Then take the watch and see approach. I think its shorters market at the moment. Equity may see some pain ahead.
