Christmas food orders are now live

Just short of 6% rise today, very happy with that after last week! More of the same for the rest of the week please.
I work in retail, I have 2 small independent shops and we've just had our best ever quarter, in store sales only, we're not online. Very happy with how business has been since lockdown was lifted. Hopefully it will continue. I'd like to add I'm in Lancashire, in supposedly one of the worst hit areas...
Nice premium on todays closing UT from last trade at .93 with offer of 93.18 straight to .94 for the UT. Hopefully a better week next week and hopefully less spam and bickering on the forum too! Have a good weekend everyone

Yes Ocado rise has been fantastic but how much further is it going? You're saying you value Ocado solutions at over £20billion in its current form?
We can do the same let's take yesterday's close price of £1.02 for Mks and £28.29 for Ocado and see which turns out to be the better investment. No good looking back at June now as I'm looking at todays investments not past investments, yes I understand thats a comparison for then and proves Ocado was the better investment in June but for me I now see more value in MKS at current prices. Either way good luck and let's hope we both keep making money in this market, not often we get so many opportunities
So you're saying you value MKS at 0.5bill? If you can't see value there you need to change your username!
Each to our own, for me I see value and good gains to be made. This is not part of my trading account, holding these in my ISA so im not saying its going to double overnight
Valueplay you're clearly invested in Ocado and must see value in their share price yet you constantly put mks down. Looking like the Marks partnership is going to be a massive success and is giving Ocado a big boost.
Ocado mcap is currently just under £20billion and their main revenue is still currently Ocado retail. Out of interest Valueplay like Dannyred mentioned what % of Ocado's mcap would you put down as Ocado retail? Even as just 10% its worth mks current mcap so its madness you keep calling mks share price down. If it was only 10% that means you value Ocado solutions currently at £18billion?! Even you must agree MKS share price is now massively undervalued in comparison...
Forgive me if I'm wrong but from what I knew 75% of Ocados revenue comes from Ocado retail? Ocado has an mcap of over £17billion compared to M&S around £2billion. M&S now own 50% of Ocado retail with a difference of £15billion in mcap!! Not to mention M&S as a business itself had an mcap of around £4billion pre lockdown. For me there has got to be a big rerate coming here over the next few months
Looks like the partnership is set to be a massive. Ocado saw its biggest forward order day on 1st September. 98% of customers are already shopping M&S.
"Customers have responded positively to the switchover to M&S products on the 1st of September, with demand for the new range driving both an increase in the number of products in customer baskets and strong forward demand"
"The weighting of M&S products in the average Ocado basket is higher than Waitrose prior to the switchover, reflecting positive customer reaction to the addition of M&S to the range"

Looking good for MKS and Ocado. MKS mcap is ridiculously low considering they now own 50% of Ocado retail in a deal that must now be worth more than double the £750million paid plus mks latest results were much better than expected with the grocery sale increase pretty much making up for loss in clothing sales.
Share price is 50% lower than in January, good gains to be made here in next few months
Ocado update expected tomorrow. Should include an update on the joint venture. Seems Ocado have enjoyed record traffic to their retail website since the deal commenced. All looking very good. Mks still looking very undervalued, mcap would be suitable for just the joint venture imo with the online retail growth since the partnership was agreed last year.
To think the share price is still pretty much 50% lower than January and we now have the joint venture in place is crazy
