Happy to see they're shifting the clothing advertising to online, after all that is where they will be making the most sales so it will be more direct advertising. Also prepares for any lockdown restrictions that could come with restrictions on what supermarkets can sell in store again.

Wales now into 17 day full lockdown. Supermarkets only allowed to sell essential items. Just showed a clip on the news of tesco stripping shelves of none essential items, looks like they're being very strict this time around!
All to be expected with the latest lockdown restrictions and rates increasing, to be honest I'm surprised its not dropped closer to 90, was hoping for a large top up down there! Looks like Manchester and Lancashire will be added to tier 3 in coming days and wouldn't be surprised if forced into a circuit breaker soon as new restrictions too hard to police and people not taking notice. Scenes in Liverpool yesterday just sum up what government are having to deal with and you can guarantee the same people are the first to complain about lack of help. To clamp down they should refuse any of the coronavirus financial help/grants to people caught breaking the rules. If they are not willing to help by following rules they should not be entitled to the same help as the people that are trying their best to help the country avoid further restrictions... sorry rant over!
Xi runs the country like a dictator and people live in fear. UK is completely different! Impossible to compare. People can't even be trusted to wear masks and majority don't follow social distancing. China locked off city's using blockades and military, dragged people from their homes to quarantine, can you imagine Boris trying that!!
This country will never put politics to one side and we will never all stick together as a nation to beat it so unfortunately its not going anywhere fast
Markets holding pretty well so far this morning. Boris doing a conference at 6pm to announce 3 tier lockdown. Being in the northwest with high rates and currently in a local lockdown I think we will be heading straight for tier 3! Hopefully avoid a sell off this afternoon, after all its positive for the food and grocery side and doesn't look like its coming with any closures of non essential retail yet?
Good to finish with the rise yesterday, makes up for the midweek games. Sp still being played with, finished the week pretty much flat to where we started on Monday as did ftse, everything in-between is just games at the minute. Expecting a steady rise will come pre results.
Hopefully markets can move a bit more positive next week and ftse head towards 6200 rather than drift back towards 5800
2.3% fall is not fishy, the quick drop and rise back up to high 90s and staying there was fishy though, very naughty taking out lots of stops this morning, quick change of hands! ****ed off i wasn't quick enough to get some low 90s, by the time I'd transferred funds it was back up. Mks often drops and rises its been a yoyo share for a while now, dips into 90s then back to 110s. Hopefully taking a better run up this time and get back towards 120
