A Crypto exchange typically makes money by taking a percentage on every trade. A simplistic example is, consider that they charge 0.10% (10 basis points) on the notional value of each trade. This could be a 250m Mcap in a flash if Gst catch 0.05% of the FX market alone. I think Lord Wellesley and the BoD will be aiming a little higher than 10p now Novice, but each to their own.

BFd, these were my thoughts at the time, if we paid anything it would have been miniscule imo, so obvious Paypt was set up to get the licence Gst needed, all you have to do is join the dots with the dates Paypt was set up, along with the date Gst announced the proposed acquisition.

GST is subject to the disclosure requirements set out in the FCA Listing Rules.  The company was not required to disclose the amount paid for PAYPT Finance Ltd.  For good commercial reasons, and as agreed between GST and the PAYPT Finance Ltd vendor, the consideration has not been disclosed.  In my nearly 30 years’ experience o0f dealing with public company M&A this is perfectly normal and I would not expect the consideration paid for an acquisition falling below the disclosure thresholds to be disclosed.
