No production soon by the sounds of that interview. Which means there could be another dilutive event to add to the 26 already performed in the last 2 years. Dyor.

So basically

DRC is no longer 'imminent' and is not as far advanced as what it was last November when it was 'imminent'. It is now 'very close' and its just a matter of a 'process', unfortunately nobody including Bell or the Faso Government staff know what the process is. One day we will wake up and 'it' will be 'there'. 'It' being the money. (I think). Where 'there' is was not specified (hopefully not a Cypriot bank). No time lines are being quoted as rrr would surely miss them. Again. And again. Etc.

Faso. Unclear whether plant has yet been shipped or arrived as somebody got shingles and somebody else had an operation and it takes 4 hours to get to meetings. RRR don't want staff to arrive yet as then they have to be paid. Bloody Indian workers expecting a wage.

Then we have the next 'pivot' which appears to be 'Australia'.....

Your opinion a couple of months ago was there would be no 'dilutive event' for shareholders as Faso would be producing. Do you still hold firm to that opinion? (That's actually 2 questions, see what I did there)

Breaking: The shocking level of PLCs, 132, delinquent in their accounts, from BrewDog to an Andrew Bell Dog

Hat tip to reader DM who brings the article below from Tax Policy Associates on the quite shocking level of PLC’s which are delinquent in filing accounts. On 1 August 2024, there were 4,430 active public limited companies. Ignoring those that appear completely defunct1, there were 132 that hadn’t filed on time by 1 August. And nestling in there is a name that rings an Andrew Bell.

From a tweet by RRR yesterday, "The equipment brought in for our alluvial gold test programme at Bilbale will be able to handle from 288 tph to 1,152 tph" https://x.com/RRR_RedRock/status/17624260920511160997s=20. Work the numbers through: 1,152 tph x 2 g/t is 2,304 g. 2,304/28.3495 is 81 oz an hour. 16 hour day (2 shifts) is 1,296 oz per day. Sell for $2,000 per oz, cost of production $900 an oz: revenue is $1.452mil per day. That is the likely upper bound given current conditions. I will let you do the lower bound calculations. Whichever way you cut it, Burkina Faso is worth significantly more to RRR than DRC.

Helpful, I bet you tell all the ladies (or men, hey hoo, modern world) about the impressive equipment. We have all been disappointed with it tbh, a case of no show, no grow.

OK, ish, but I think the market is expecting more, maybe 100+ bpd, especially with DB's and TAC's ramping. Doesn't replace Wressle decreasing oil output and increased water cut....
