A few things can be true at once though:

Most of it is FUD, for sure, uncertainty gets clicks, attention, leverage.

Part of it is inertia, once a narrative starts, people keep repeating it because it’s easier than reassessing.

And part of it is boredom or noise-filling, some folks need something to argue about, even if it’s stale.

If you don’t green box, filter, you part of them!

FDA clearance for a second clinical asset confirms this is a platform story, not a single shot. Strong execution, expanding pipeline and increasing optionality with every milestone.

Huge milestone IMO. Second FDA IND cleared and AVA6103 into human trials, platform validation in real time. Exatecan is a beast of a payload and pre|CISION® could finally unlock it safely. Fast execution and AI-selected tumours. This is how serious biotechs build value.

This highlights just how pivotal the coming period could be for Avacta. With multiple clinical catalysts approaching, including the progression of AVA6103 and expanding data from AVA6000, the value of the pre|CISION platform is increasingly being validated both clinically and strategically. The breadth of the pipeline, coupled with continued innovation such as the dual-payload AVA6207, underlines the platform’s scalability and long-term potential. If execution continues as planned, the near future offers several meaningful opportunities for value creation and partnering interest.

Avacta is approaching a defining period, with the imminent Phase I start of its second asset AVA6103 (FAP-EXd), a sustained release pre|CISION-exatecan conjugate. Initial data by year-end, as well as first breast cancer data for lead asset faridoxorubicin (AVA6000, FAP-Dox), could crystallise partnering interest.

The utility, and value, of the pre|CISION platform is becoming clearer as growing preclinical and clinical data confirm its ability to improve the therapeutic index of many highly potent yet systemically toxic oncology drugs. Advances in pre|CISION chemistry, employing capping groups and novel linkers, have the potential to expand applicability of this technology to a wider range of payloads and cancer types. Newly unveiled novel dual payload PDC platform AVA6207 exemplifies Avacta’s skillset and ambition. Pipeline progress into the clinic and successful clinical results in the near future should provide multiple value-inflection points. We value Avacta at £468m, or 106p/share.

In Phase 1a trials, AVA6000 has generally been well tolerated even at doses far above standard doxorubicin in some cases up to ~4× the conventional dose, without the severe cardiac toxicity typically seen with doxorubicin…

Other common toxicities of traditional doxorubicin (like myelosuppression) appear reduced in early results.

Avacta has engineered a modified version of doxorubicin that appears to reduce systemic toxicity and preferentially release active drug in tumours using tumour‑activated chemistry. Early clinical data suggest a safer and potentially more effective profile than Dox alone.

Useful way to think about it:

Doxorubicin is just the fuel. Faridoxorubicin is the Formula 1 car.

Avacta doesn’t create value by making dox, it buys it like everyone else.

The value (and cost) is in the proprietary conjugate, manufacturing, clinical data and IP, not the payload itself.

So the expense isn’t “buying dox”, it’s turning it into a targeted, safer cancer drug.

It’s nuts how many posters are filtered here, yet still keep posting despite getting hardly any ticks on their comments. Compare that to posts with genuine engagement, surely at some point self-awareness has to kick in?

AVCT’s strategy on AVA6103 has been well-documented.

The warhead’s wide utility and the broad addressable market of the TOPO1 mechanism means partners will not want to compete in this space.

They will compete for this space.

AVA6103 is soon to become a clinical stage asset.

JPM isn’t just an “investment” event , it’s also a business development hotspot.

Big pharma and larger biotech companies attending may be scouting licensing deals, collaborations, or acquisition targets.

Smaller biotechs often use this week to set up meetings with potential partners, explore co-development opportunities, or even discuss co-funded trials or IND plans.

For Avacta, whose proprietary platforms (like pre|CISION®) could be attractive to larger drug developers, this is a chance to showcase tech that might lead to out-licensing or strategic deals….

Many of the so-called “real investors” — who are clearly knowledgeable and often contribute positively — regularly complain about the presence of persistent FUD posters. Yet despite having the ability to filter them out, they continue to engage, respond, and give them attention.

In doing so, they end up perpetuating the very behaviour they criticise. At that point, the distinction between the two becomes blurred.

The board has the tools available to improve the quality of discussion, but they are rarely used. Instead, it remains dominated by arguments, egos, and point-scoring, particularly from a small, well-known group.

It’s disappointing, because this board should be a place for genuine investors to discuss the company’s progress, fundamentals, and sentiment in a constructive way.

Unfortunately, until that changes, the overall quality of discussion is unlikely to improve.

That was a waste of 5mins writing…..
