I've just been Christmas shopping and was stood next to two Chinese people in primark... they where talking in mandarin but im fluent in it so I could understand everybody they said.... and I over heard them saying when shein gets 60 billion quid from there ipo, they are taking out the competition mentioning ASOS by name for 3 billion quid.

I'll be honest I'm not the most clued up on takeovers..

but after reading that if someone buys over 30% of a company shares they are obliged to make a offer and the offer has to be not lower than it has been in the last 12 months.. hence my post if this stays at these levels for the next 4 or 5 month then someone making a hostile takeover would only have to propose 4 quid... please fell free to point out where my thinking is flawed..

Basically I think frasers group along with Ashley are manipulating this share to make a move and buy it as cheap as possible. Is this theoretical?

Another 4 or 5 month at this price.. then whoever goes for a hostile takeover gets this for around 4 pound a share..
