James that’s an interesting one I poised to the Twitter group as well. They’re clearly still very much on board, and I’d imagine they’d align with our 30%, potentially eating into Sheikhs 70%, one of the comments made. Oracle energy will run the project with Naheed in charge but in the upcoming quarterly update like stated, we’ll find out a lot more. Many moving parts and various aspects moving at a frantic pace.
-secure the investment
-secure the technology
-get the green light to build infrastructure
And Watch this go
Really enjoyed that podcast and you sense the urgency from Naheed definitely to get this moving. The transition has already started to these renewable sources, but you’ll see that transition within the next 2-4 years become far more aggressive. Oracle don’t want to be a small fish in a big pond, they want to get ahead of the game and get this going. Absolutely no reason the company years down the line couldn’t accommodate or secure a second plant, whilst startups and some of the energy giants out there are still negotiating with the first. But that’s for another day
Strangely enough, it excites me to see the SP falter, trade sideways and retreat a little. That’s purely selfish and I’m happy with my holdings here, but after yesterday’s news I’m really thinking about adding a lot more here. A huge future ahead with 2 gold projects and THAR coal to consider alongside.
