What do you mean too large? I think it is very fair considering that some of his investments are now pretty much worthless ie RM2 ? Yes he has had some positive ones but most of them are money loosing businesses !!!

What for ? Total waste of money unless you are doing it for short term trading ! No doubt for me that the co will be insolvent soon and the shares will be worthless.

What a load of organic fertilizer !!! Boom's sp has performed terribly and all of us that have been long term holders of the shares are sitting on a massive paper loss. So many times the management have grossly overstated the figures, always telling us how much potential the co has only to come up with the begging bowl soon after.. Shambolic management performance or else ?

Rubbish ! The co comes up with what seems to be a decent trading update and the sp does not move upwards at all
I dont think today's update is what matters. The financial position of the co matters and they must be running out of money soon AGAIN !!!.

I would not be surprised if the sp goes under the ipo price. We really need to see the investments they have made so far !!!

Bloody hell, i did not think we would see the sp at these levels, considering again a not so bad trading report. I would not be in a rush to buy even at these levels as with the market turmoil out there at the present , any bad news could send the price even lower. The yield is ever so attractive assuming the co does not clip it to conserve cash !

Well that's not a valid argument i am afraid. I agree with your thought process but the mgt of any public co has a responsability towards its shareholders. If they worry whether they will make money bidding for public contracts, then they should bid for more private sector works where margins are higher.

Only normal profit taking , after all almost 8 % in 3 weeks is not bad is it ? Regarding the comparison with Woodforfd, lets see what the initial investments are and then we see. The fact that SSON will be a more international fund makes it a lot more appealing to me !

Sadly i fear this could go the CLLN way. I cant see them raising the £50m they need and the banks will pull the plug on them as they are loosing £ on most contracts. Shame as Kier looks to be in trouble too if one follows what the short sellers do. That only leaves BBY which itself was in deep trouble till Leo Quinn arrived to sort out the mess they were in.

I find so difficult to see how these enormous construction/services co's are in so much trouble when there is only 3 main players in the game and they seem to have a huge backlog of work to last many many years. Even if they raise their profit margins , they would still get the work, would'nt they ?

Even with the recent good news, the sp could not hold on to its recent gains , back to 25 which i find very annoying and frustrating. By the way what is the desired effect and what do you mean by tree shake and pat ? !!!

Another co that the illustrious Mr Paul Walsh decided to join as a non exec member of the bod which is soon going to go bust ( the other being RM2 ).He has made millions in the past running DIAGEO, but since then , his choices have been less than impressive !!!

Of course the downside is limited, soon we will be down to 0 !!!!

Very wise decision and could not agree more with you. As long as the co keeps increasing its exposure to the electric car /battery business , the future should be very bright !!!

The mgt of this co is a total disgrace. Better to close the co down than watch it trade at this level. No news, nothing positive to say, SHAMBOLIC !!!!!!!!!!!

How is that relevant to THRU.? There are several other players in this industry, most much bigger than THRU and if the TRUMP admin sticks to its word , they will want to give the contracts to US co's !

5 % gain in 2 weeks in the middle of a very negative market with no holdings that we know yet , i would say is very good. He could not have picked a better time to come in as many world wide equities now are showing a 25-30% lower price that from the recent highs. So as long as he picks the right shares, i expect a very significant increase in the sp.

The co should consider taking some of its devices to screen some of the 00's possibly 000's of immigrants who will soon arrive in the US/ Mexican border. Would that not be a great live marketing exercise to demo the equipment ?
