Wasn't Blackstone seelling the Afren OPL 310 asset to Lekoil on behalf of Alixp? They recently changed the name. Wasn't Blackstone advicing Afren Bondholders before Administration? Isn't that a potential conflict of interest? If not explain why please?

Facts is what we need Peter, you spoke to the external PR company - and they will put positive spin on anything. Let's hope Afren plc can be rescue and that somehow without Ministerial approval the asset can go back to Afren plc...fingers crossed! To pay ONLY $13m for that asset is pretty odd and at the same time pretty risky IMO.

The Lagos High Court injunctions in Nigeria are apparently still ongoing. Those legal cases could take for ever! The OGO Ministerial approval won't happen until the two cases are resolved!
