Long term (or LockedIn) is my middle name, but my investment here is likely shorter than yours!?... After over 5 years it would be nice to be in profit! (for more than a few days) and in a position to set a stop and sit back in the knowledge that (if nothing else) my investment is covered. Only then will I 'actually' know my own strategy, BUT if this doubles tomorrow I'll most likely have a Very itchy finger ;)

It's been said many times that Rufus has the ability to surprise, expect a curveball, don't count him out etc. A lucky?,... or coincidently well timed find/piece of news in an RNS that could turnout to be Rufus's saviour.

The SP is the KEY, and if that is right, and everything is coming together, I doubt most will be concerned with Rufus's income...

I would imagine that as long as we get consistent good quality news, and everything stays on track and the RCPP progresses that is all (most) investors really want.

Looking forward to the day I breakeven and am able to put a stop in place! Might not be that far off!?.....

The Bid finished nicely up 34.71% yesterday. I wasn't about, and all the available data is flawed?, but gather the SP/Bid was even higher.

The largest rise/spike I have ever seen here, and over a third up in ONE DAY so just goes to show.

This is without doubt very good informative news, and good for all projects in the continued industrialisation and development of the region.

This infrastructure is very badly needed, and I am really pleased to see it picked up and reported on by EDL. Also because as we saw yesterday (thus far) the news instilling some additional confidence into investors.

imo it was a well considered and timed RNS release by EDL CEO Rufus Short, a man that is hoped (by some) to be on his way out, and barely hanging on to his £200k pa position....

Whatever your view it is without doubt very good informative news, and good for both EDL and Kibo and for all others projects in the continued industrialisation/development of the region.

Powerline Financing

Edenville Energy plc (AIM: EDL), the company developing a coal project in southwest Tanzania, is pleased to note that it has been announced that US$455 million of World Bank funding has been approved for the Zambia-Tanzania-Kenya (ZTK) power transmission line.

This funding will allow the construction of high voltage power infrastructure, which specifically includes the transmission line from Sumbawanga to Tunduma and the associated Sumbawanga substation near to the Company's Rukwa project area in southwest Tanzania.

Edenville believes that this news, in conjunction with the Company's operational mining activities, has the potential to be transformational for the Company's planned Rukwa Coal to Power project. It should now allow the Company to progress its integrated Rukwa Coal to Power Project with the intention to develop the facility alongside the role out of the new power line. The Rukwa Coal Project contains 170 million tonnes of Measured and Indicated JORC compliant coal resources and the mine has recently entered commercial production in early 2018.

The Company looks forward to providing further updates as appropriate.

I tend to agree about credibility Potter, but I'm still waiting for the next update before I cast further judgment, as everything other then what we have been told is hypothesis.

Yes I agree it definitely seems that they have surpassed their skillset, BUT I'm still not counting Rufus out just yet, at least not until after the next RNS update.
