Sinohydro is a Chinese state-owned hydropower engineering and construction company and not a Miner or Energy Company, and it was said that it would not be allowed and is not part of any possible scenario.

Does anyone REALLY think that the power line was extended to the termination point at Sumbawanga for any other reason than for our RCPP?

Or put another way: For what other reason would a power line of this magnitude run to Sumbawanga?? The Board seem quite sure about the reason!

Yes, and also agreed by the bod. They mentioned the project has cost circa £10m thus far, and reiterated that they consider they have managed to get to this point on a shoestring. I think most agreed.

Everything currently imo is positive!.....except the SP BUT, look at Kibo and what they have, and how advanced they are in the process and their SP in down 60% odd in a last few week with PPA stated in an RNS on Friday to be 'soon'

I've been watching the trades on this share every day for very many years, and nothing has change re sellers imo. There will always be sellers. If you want to believe there's a persistent seller that's fine, I just wonder why any individual would consistently sell at a loss after building (according to your assumption) such a large holding? Large ii's, of which there are not that many don't dribble out their sells in my experience. The holder make up on the holders list is a fact, not hypothesis.

The board said on Thursday that this stock is held mainly by personal investors and they are always working to increase the amount of institutional investors, but there is a level/mcap that ii's tend not to enter before reached. imo there is no big seller, there are just lots of sellers. This will go up on news, and down without, simples.

Yes I understand your frustration. I hold both Kibo and EDL amongst others and
fortunately my portfolio doesn't rely on a couple of individual stocks, but no one
likes to see any of there holding down for years on end. As you say crazy world!

A strange statement? Dangerous times??... Nothing is a given, but this company is currently the most de-risked its been in its history!

The bod said two days ago that it's there hope/intention not to have to raise funds subject to revenue streams etc, but if they ever do it will be offered to shareholders. Nothing changes with regard to institutional investors, they will always raise money. dyor

Or did you read the answer to the takeover question on the edl bb?

When questioned at the EDL AGM about selling Jeff Malaihollo and Rufus Short said that they are ‘willing to talk to anyone’... I think they mentioned the project has cost circa £10m thus far, so doubt it could be bought for anything close to the mCap. Not because of what has been spent, but because of the assets.

As was also said in the meeting was that the power line was not extended to the termination point at Sumbawanga by accident. :)

You were at the AGM and we have identified most! If an investor you can only be one of three! Where did you sit?

I'm not sure we should be discussing placings at this time as it was clearly stated at the AGM that it is their hope/intention not to have to raise further funds subject to revenue streams being maintained until the end of the year (I think they were the words used)..

If their is another placing/offer it will come through a Broker with a specific ratio or you will be able to buy whatever you want. It will only generally be known to share holders, and surprisingly does work. Or an offer will be made to the market, generally speaking only people with Brokers will know about most placing/offers if they are made aware of them.
