The Mozambique-Malawi Transmission Interconnector (Malawi section) is the SAPP and not directly (although eventually it will be) related to the MCPP, the EAPP.

There are five African Power Pools, Southern African Power Pool (SAPP), (Eastern Africa Power Pool (EAPP), Central African Power Pool (CAPP), West African Power Pool (WAPP) and North African Power Pool (NAPP).

Initially the MCPP would be supplying power to the EAPP Grid.

I think it’s fair to say that Edenvilles known proven coal is well documented and has been scrutinised over very many years. We know with all licenses the known, but not proven coal reserves are colossal circa 4 or 5 times the 173mt
