I noticed the product manager trade too, he sold in March and just bought recently, what a trade!
must admit find the price action a bit weird …
Makes you wonder why then, the government do not stand on these ponzi companies which are not paying millions in taxes, rather than punish steady and reliable suppliers of energy, someone somewhere is making a lot of money out of this and it would appear its probably not the customer or the government...………. maybe some of the MP'S who were so quick to point the finger at the "big 6" should be looking into this ………..
If it keeps gaining it may escape, FTSE trackers would remove them from their 100 funds dont know if they have to sell them? But of course they would put them in their 250 trackers so not sure if they just do an internal switching rather than having to buy or sell into each tracker fund.
Agree, the basics are being ignored, I think someone already mentioned. I tried to change the direct debit my maint contract with British Gas, " an unexpected error occurred, try again later" 2 days later, same again, spoke to on line agent, " I will sort it out" 2 days later " an unexpected error occurred, try again later", phoned the number on the web site to try and speak to someone " this number is no longer in use, please try and manage your account on line"...………………….. WTF...…
There you have it, look at short positions, the price was been probably hammered down before ex div date to allow short positions to close or close some of their holding before the ex dividend date and the consequence of the shorts to pay the divi out of their positions, will be interesting to see how the short holdings change up to the ex divi date.!!
looks like British bull****...….. buy signals LOL what a load of tosh.... these firms make you laugh, all based on one line crossing another on a chart, I wonder how many man hours and money has been wasted on people looking for magic lines on charts...…….
agreed, but to be fair they do now have a low baseline to start from ?
yes should be on or around the 22 Nov.
my main worry is yet again a company share price has fallen by over 50% in past 3 years, why have bod's etc still been paid big bonus payments, shares, pay rises and pension payments, if you performed like that at work all you would have is a p45. Holding back all these payments and benefits and ensuring they ARE linked to performance etc is surely a far better way to "focus" any BOD, and that's across the FTSE as a whole not just IBM, i.e. Thomas cook et al...………...
LOL U.S Courts, they will attack companies for products, 6 deaths!!! But the same courts still allow gun manufacture and sales in the U.S. how many have they killed, the gun lobby seems to be the only thing that can oppose the courts.
Poor management seems to be the recurring theme throughout the whole FTSE, just look at some of the names that have gone under, but notice that the owners, bod's etc still seem to paid bonus (performance based), free shares, huge pension payments etc, I think the large institutional owners of stocks should be putting more pressure on poor performing companies and their pay awards and benefits structure. IMHO.
seems strange to me that the usual "broker" outpourings with downgrades and sell recommendations have so far not hit our screens??
tend to agree, but I do worry when company yields go over 8 pct, so many times it gets worse for the sp. Probably just a knee jerk reaction to the news, just also goes to show how some were probably in the know yesterday and were selling into yesterdays rally ……….. then they can buy them back today.... get paid both ends...……!!!
it is pain too, getting hammered now, down over 12 pct ………. as at 9.41...…..
should be pain not paint, bloody auto text...…..
yup, that's a good move, with CBD products for paint etc, what better way to take that in a vape, maybe medical vaping could be a new thing???
which they ended up doing for the banks, and look how that ended up. Just saying that the govt or any mp would be mindful of any such actions with an election looming especially under present conditions.
