It's a bit like reading the Daily Express @Phoebus - Make a statement with absolutely no credibility or foundation, and put a question mark after it. That'll cover you when the solicitors come knocking (?)

There's probably only us elderly dividend seekers here, so not much to talk about. I think the price doesn't move much because the company earns money and pays quarterly dividends, so it's not really a growth stock. Unfortunately I sold out around the crash to rebuild my portfolio from the bargains that were around.- I'm desperate to buy back in but not at this price. Just waiting for a dip. I do wonder if a company like this would attract a bid from Shell or BP in the future as they buy there way into clean energy.

just gave it a try - I couldn't get a quote to sell my meagre 450 shares. Not that I would of course. Doesn't look any unusual activity in the trades ?

Interestingly there are quite a few "against" votes in the AGM results. Wonder who is invested but doesn't like the company ?

0.5p compared to a usual 0.75p. I don't believe many will be unhappy with that.

Sounds to me like they are locked in a room with three doors and don't know how to open any of them. Should any of those involved actually be running a company ?

So buying today at 32p. will give yield of well over 6 percent even with the problems staying as they are, with a probable year end bonus, and a yield of over 12 percent when we get back to normal.
Surprised there is no one else commenting today. All too busy buying ? Or maybe all the West Midlanders are queuing at the shops to spend their pensions/benefits ?

Some great news this morning, just as things start to get back to normal. Doubled up last week at these crazy prices, so my dividend income remains on track, may pick up some more if other peoples negativity destroys their ability to see through the black country smog.

Certainly has @Mickvick. Woke up late and thought it was raining and foggy at the same time outside. Then I realised it was the traders tears, and steam coming out of their ears. I love being an investor. Long term, sleep well, no stress.

Like I have previously said I do hold at least one investment that is labelled as a PRIIP - can't remember which without going through all the KIDs, so that reason isn't valid. I am certainly not sticking up for Halifax/Lloyds/i-web on this - it's very strange that they let anyone buy shares in the most ridiculous Lenigas type companies, then stop people buying into decent companies. In a lot of the cases I have come across the reason was the "typical investor" clause in the KID. Certainly not the actual rating, just the wording, but that doesn't apply to RBD. My main argument is that they should produce a list of companies they won't allow dealings in so that their customers know. Otherwise, the first you realise is when you hit the buy button.

@RB64 - same as you on this one. RBD is one of around 20 companies I have tried to buy into via I-web without success, often selling out of something else first and then being told they don't deal with the company I want to buy into. They will never tell you why. I usually contact the company I want to buy into and let them try and sort it out. In some cases that works, with RBD they didn't even reply to me.
Like @sumuka, I opened an account with X-O and have had no problems with them as far as RBD is concerned, but for other banned companies I have had a message from X-O saying I have to ring and convince them I am a knowledgeable investor, so I haven't bothered. After I-web, I find X-O very basic, I wouldn't go with them full time, but they are great for an alternative.

Incidentally Friday traders never work in the afternoon. You can see on UJO and UKOG chat boards that the place is dead after noon on Fridays.
