No, think we are going to rent for now, then sell our house after a gradual move. Probably leave it till spring now.
I see Blackfinch Renewable Euro Trust have pulled their IPO today because of market conditions. Be ironic if Gore don't get their full quota from institutions.
Hmm, I see CH's partner in crime is still here, but has gone quiet. When I was approached by a ramping/deramping gang many years ago they suggested that it was always better to use a female name. Less likely to be suspected and there will always be chivalrous men who will back a lady up and come to her aid if she is attacked. Having said that, only ever posting about one company shows they are amateurs at this game, however professional they appear to be.
Hmm, I think you are trying to deflect the blame elsewhere sidi, we have all seen how often you think about adding.
Having said that I may buy a few in my ISA around 4th. October, and sell the new ones when they have reached the magic 116p. Still keeping one eye on a home with a sea-view though, but will probably wait as there only seems to be property with hidden issues on the market at the moment, ie cladding. We were staying a hotel last week and had a nightmare with 4 false fire alarms, probably caused by staff smoking on the fire escapes. On the final one, after 5am on the last night, we became involved in an incident where an elderly lady went head first down the slippery fire escape. Hotel didn't even check up where we were, must have noticed half the guests were missing.
I made the mistake of getting into ORIT at the beginning - in future I will wait a year until the companies are investor and earning, but very pleased with my holding here now the dividends are coming.
It's a very complicated structure - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octopus_Group
Hopefully someone with lots of time on their hands will know (or work out) if this has any benefit to us,
Personally, I wish more people would take notice of what boxes they are ticking when voting at AGM's. Small shareholders will never make a difference anyway, and even when there is a rebellion, the company usually says they will talk to major shareholders to get their views. But below is what should happen in a fair world. -
If pre-emption rights are in place and you do decide to issue more shares, or transfer existing shares to new holders, you will need to make sure that any existing holders are offered them first. That is the purpose of the pre-emption rights.
I can't really see it dropping much now, unless new investors sell out as soon as they get their shares. My main problem was that once again PB now have my cash for a couple of weeks because they didn't explain it was just their side of the offer that was closing, and there wasn't time to look further into things.
Afraid a squirrel pressed the filter button on Panderman, which avoids further arguments.
I'm no expert (as I am often told). No idea why they aren't many posts, but I see that has a good thing, because most people can only be bothered to post to big themselves up, deramp or ramp. Which then causes arguments.
The amount of small investors may be a bit limited because some brokers won't allow investment here yet, ie the dinosaurs of Lloyds/Halifax and I-web. I had to go to Jarvis X-O to invest.
As a fairly new company the dividends have only just started to get into a routine. The September dividend last year was late in the sequence and followed by another declared in October.
2020 dividends have been ex-dividend of 4 March, 13 May, 8 July, so the next one will be sometime October, maybe even early November. Hopefully they will normalise to February, May, August and November next year. Companies like this often adjust the dividend dates to coincide with fundraisers. Some to avoid paying dividends to new investors, others to make the subscription more attractive to new investors.
I think we have to trust that the company know what they are doing.
So sorry to have offended you Panderman, I hope you get over it soon. Try sitting in a park watching squirrels, it's a great help for a superior attitude.
Today's RNS makes me think that it was a bit naughty PB closing the offer and rushing some to invest while cutting others out. I presumed both offers were closing together. With faffing about with PBs App and my banking App, there was no time to read small print.
I was also leaving it to tomorrow. Had a sit in a park at 1.30pm to watch the squirrels, and checked my phone. PB had sent a notification to say the offer was closing at 2pm. Bit hectic getting the payment made and application in. Probably get scaled back
So the PB offer has closed very early, oversubscribed. I wonder if they will take the opportunity to increase the amount ?
In the circumstances I applied for more than I intended.
I believe you used the correct word sidi.

I sold a few on Monday and will buy them back through PB. Not that there was any benefit in doing that, but it was a bit of a shock so soon after the last fundraiser. Best wishes.
Personal insults are always from those with the lowest intelligence. Fortunately I have started using the filters.
As much as I've doubted Heid in the past, I am fairly sure she will be busy topping up. Just like me. Little point in her trying to explain why with all the braying donkeys. Relax guys, or get a job and make some investments.
and, of course, it is having to pay dividends to the new investors despite sitting on that cash.
I agree, but maybe give some time for the money to start coming in ? I only invest for dividends, but I would also like this company to grow. I am currently getting a 6 percent yield, which is what I aim for as an average for my quarterly dividend companies. Hopefully next dividend, but I think more likely the final dividend for an increase. Despite me being overweight here, I did add some more recently.
well at least you avoided the withholding tax problem with DEC. I may try buying a few back in my X-O (Jarvis) account just to see what happens with the tax at the November dividend, I filled in a W8-BEN with them a few months ago. Can do without those complications though. Lloyds and I-web just won't accept their responsibilities.
I also topped up 3000, paid 113.4445p though. Topped up Regional as well. Got out of DEC to fund it all, mainly so I don't have to read their toxic BB anymore. Although to be fair, it was me who made it toxic.
