You wouldn't snap their hand off at all. You would have been majorly concerned as to why the company is making less money now than last year when the opportunity of a lifetime in the pharma market has come along and your company has done dmnothing tontake advantage of it.

Birthdays are not evenly distributed throughout the year. September and October have the greatest number of birthdays so rather than the 1/6th you suggested it's more around 1/8th looking at the ONS figures on birthday distributions in the UK.
Again Q1 AND Q2 account for only 1/3rd of profits for the year. I expect the September half year figures to show a 10 million drop in profits at most during this time. That is all, if it is more, then I'll admit my optimism based on the facts has been misplaced.

This is a valid point about not overreacting to steady oscillations. I bought aml at 60p with real money, and with my practise account I bought £150k. At 58p I sold as heard some bad news. The share tumbled to 28p. I remembered this week about my practise account and sold aml for 200k. Had I looked at 28 p....jesus.
