In practice 1 litre (dge) hydrogen produces about 2.75 kWh of electricity (the same as 1 litre of diesel in a diesel generator). This will equate to about 168 grams of hydrogen i.e. 1 kg of hydrogen consumed by the HPU is equivalent to about 6 litres of diesel consumed by a diesel generator.

6 litres at £1.50 is £9 but most sites will be paying between £1.60/1.80 per litre so its roughly very similar if not slightly cheaper when using Hydrogen.

Its a lot cheaper to buy the Ammonia from the Middle East and transport to UK and Crack than Produce in UK and Crack here.

For anyone that does not understand pros and cons of Ammonia, Hydrogen in its pure form is a real pain to move around plus when contain in Ammonia its a lot more dense, meaning you get more in each ship/lorry.

You also need high pressure or temperature controlled containers to move pure Hydrogen around.

AFC are about to change the Hydrogen industry. People should read about how they have managed to bring the price of Hydrogen down.

If you look at the price offered and time this 32K was stamped sell. But i think it was a clear buy.

I think will be targeting 5p for first reduction. MMs are helping AFC today, they are testing the sell rate 6.2p while covering themselves on Ask at just under 7p

If they up Bid and closed their spread, I would get you get a lot more sells coming in but where they have placed Bid today it seems to be getting people hold.

Really, after tomorrow it would be useful for AFC to deliver more news on something, just to support this price.

I think the time has now come that regular people on this board start pulling together and finding out facts and proper information and also helping AFC with leads.

Daz, Geopura isn't really doing that well. I looked into them last month and they are having similar problems with unit cost and Hydrogen costs, but they have managed to get Barclays to back them.

Geo is saying that unit cost will come down so things will be better in the future. But they have just spent a fortune on a network of tube trailers and tube infrastructure, so they are going down that route.

Who knows, Geo might even be looking at AFC now for future fuel.

But most sites will have a big fuel tank next to generator, so AFC will just have the same but it will contain ammonia, so it works perfectly.

Geo will be spending a fortune with this tube network, so it will be interesting.

Just read both reports a few times. I can see their vision and if they pull this off, this will be trading at pounds sometime in the future.

They are looking at basically turning this industry on its head. And I think John W is perfect for this. Lets remember, John isn't Bond and maybe Jam tomorrow is Jam and cream.

Daz, the more I have thought about this RNS, the more positive I'm feeling about it. We all wanted 20M sales coming up etc etc but we should of known really.

But this Cracker tech, getting price point down, will absolutely cause a mass market adoption. It could be a game changer, i just wish it was week/months away.

Daz, I don't think you should worry about the fund raise. If they get to a stage where they require one and can raise money it will mean that progress is being made.

Or, no progress and time to shut the lights off.

But at least they have a year and if they don't succeed this year they never will.

I would also think that with this Cracker, its more likely someone buys them out, this would solve everyone's problems.

Scrap the generator part of the business and cut the staff massively and just work on the Cracker now.

Stats, you need to read the 2024 RNS which confirms Cracker will be making money in 2025 then just ignore todays so it gets cancelled out and you can just believe the Cracker is making money.

Is, they might just have enough time to turn this around. It looks like their generators are becoming similar price points with diesel and this should increase their units sold massively.
