Orthern, DGR has clearly been causing grief, but it remains the case that a board member should not be voicing his opinions about his colleagues to a few private investors in a pub.

A new chairman will have to deal with this, but if anyone is going to get sacked, I doubt it'll be Caldwell. If Mather has a credible alternative plan, I'd love to know what it is. Who knows, perhaps he'll issue a statement challenging the board? If not, he should respect the concept of collective responsibility and keep his views to himself and his fellow board members.

Orthern, putting to one side PBow's disgruntlement, the other thing which emerged from that Thursday meet was Mather's view of life.

From the various comments it's quite apparent we have yet another boardroom schism with Mather venting his angst to all and sundry. Personally, I find this hugely unprofessional, but given it's now out in the open, I wonder how the Board will confront the matter.

What didn't appear to emerge was what exactly Mather would be doing differently? Any clues?

DBW, sorry, it's just occurred to me that the money we need is for the various licence extensions and therefore a drawdown on the FN facility could not be applied to those licences. Did Caldwell draw this distinction?

We have another crunch point coming at the end of March and, as it stands, no means of paying.

When challenged about this at the London meet and greet, apparently Caldwell appeared to be completely confident.

What this does mean is that in the next six weeks we'll have some form of announcement relating to this issue. Small placing? Sale of the CGP shares?

Fort, if you believe the company when it says it's actively engaged in seeking a chairman, it's unlikely a sale is in the offing. This is reinforced by the fact that as part of their dd the candidates are talking to FN and Osisko about the company and their ongoing support.

DGR have issued an update on their funding position.

It turns out the Samuel loan had not been finalised in November and they had to negotiate an extension of the existing Choice loan until 31st January. Due to the failure to complete the documentation Choice has agreed to extend it until 17th March. The new Samuel loan requires shareholder approval. There is no suggestion shareholders will reject the proposal and it seems inevitable it will go ahead.

This explains two things: 1) why their latest cash flow report didn't show the loan drawdown, and 2) why Sean stated Mather had appeared to be very stressed during the recent London trip.

The success of their fund raising activities is important for us and let's hope it gets across the line.

Interesting exchanges happening on telegram. Sean was talking to Chris and raised a number of shareholder questions. First, a short list of candidates for the chairman's position has been compiled and those candidates are doing dd on the company. The intention is to appoint a heavy hitter.

The company were surprised at the election result, but point out that both candidates are pro-mining. The anti-mining stuff is just noise.
