I think that answers the question, albeit, cryptically.

I'm 100% convinced his shareholding was as a result of the placing - as were the others - but if the matter is of concern, maybe check with the company?

Canillasboy, it doesn't need to be stated, it's simply a question of deducting his shares from the total number issued in respect of the placing. There is no requirement for the other investors to declare their holdings as they are well under the 3% rule. As I said earlier, 40m have been placed with those people who formed part of subscription.

He's taken the lion's share of the placing with 40m new shares going to others.

Not only do we benefit from having him on the Register with the obvious connection to Tun, but we also have the endorsement of a number of other investors who would appear to be connected to Coffey. A double win.

Trader, it's worth googling him, but as a summary, he's a very successful Australian hedge fund guy and significant holder in TUN.

But he was only one of a group of new investors.

The new shareholder is Coffey.

It's a totally futile exercise.

I also think you're right about the Board. It's all finance people and could do with a non-exec with proper mining experience.

Tungstenman, you raise a very good point about PR. The company should be shouting from the roof tops about this nationally significant resource. If UKOG managed to get the BBC to cover their fictional oil reserves, a story like ours must be of interest, particularly as it ticks a number of boxes; a rare mineral, UK based and, importantly, in an economically deprived area.

Btw, the subscription RNS states the new shares will hit the market 'on or around' the 25th. I suppose it's possible it hasn't happened yet.

Trout, sorry, I must have missed your comment. It would certainly explain the lack of a TR1, and I don't regard it as a negative at all. More investors lends greater credibility as it tells us more people have bought into the story.

Re:delayed trades.

According to the Stock Exchange, there was only one trade of 300k which was reported as being delayed, and I couldn't see any sign of the 4m.

As a separate point, I believe a company has to release an RNS when newly issued shares actually hit the market - this hasn't yet happened. (it could be the case Aim shares are exempt from this requirement)

As far as the subscription is concerned, the wording is interesting. It says it was 'led' by an international investor. Does that imply there were a number of parties involved?

Mrgamgee, it wasn't a disappointing day. In the history of the company and it's evolution, it was an astonishing day.

Kd24, assuming people actually understand what the company has said today, why would anyone need their nerves calming? The announcements were stellar and the short term price movement is irrelevant to any serious investor.
