Barksy, I understand your comment about the non-BCN assets. I was simply referring to the vast amount of puffery concerning BCN. Bear in mind, from what I can see, he was talking about a sale of BCN in 2015. Blow the lights out! etc, etc. (the stuff about the 'investment committee' was just absolute tosh. The other aspect to look at is shareholder value. So far, none has been created...which most categorically is NOT what DL was implying and this should be the only thing that interests shareholders. In any event, REM is far better off without DL and so too is my own investment. Let's all hope 2017 finally sees some real progress.

As for this character Cleverly, let's hope he faces some serious scrutiny by the relevant authorities and that he's not allowed anywhere near the public arena again. Shocking stuff.

tidd, it's the psychology that's fascinating. There have been far too many examples of strange behaviour by pi's recently. It doesn't seem to matter that a company's board can spell it out in plain English i.e "we are going bust", there is a group of people who pop up on these bbs and say; "no, they can't really mean that, can they?" "I'm going to have a punt" "there must be a plan b", "not over 'till the Fat Lady sings" etc, etc. Recent examples include XEL, GKP,NEW,WRN, etc,etc. (WRN's different...I don't think there are any directors) Why people ignore what they're being told never fails to amaze me.It's a bit like telling someone not to play football on the M6 and the thought process being;"yeah, I know he says that, but I bet he doesn't mean it". All very odd.

spikey, a while back, when the stock had fallen quite a bit, I panicked and sold out. Within 2 hours I'd bought back. It cost me a few pence, but I'm extremely glad I stuck with it. I'd lost sight of why I was invested...the cardinal error for pi's.

There appears to be a rather good re-rate taking place. I'd be surprised if the shorters haven't been caught out by this. They were anticipating problems with the acquisitions and have been proved wrong.

A very impressive set of final results. Progress made throughout the business and it's quite clear the integration of the acquisitions has gone very well.

weeks ago I gave my shares in this POS to charity. I now feel sorry for the charity. This company simply doesn't deserve to exist. The BOD quite clearly have massive brass necks.
