If he did, it would be worth the square root of bugger-all and not the $2bn you keep banging-on about. It has been said to you many, many times before, but if one assumes these acquisitions do exist, and there is no evidence either way, for them to be completed, many, many billions of new shares will have to be issued (as well the raising of significant amounts of debt) And by the way, no vendor of a decent business would accept new shares at the price currently quoted on britdaq...the true value is probably sub-1p, and every advisor would tell his client that this is the case. Let's hope the acquisitions do happen and that Whet goes on to create some real value, but as it stands right now, your calculations are no more than fanciful dreams.

Phil, it's interesting that they told me they had received them! The shares have been allocated to my SIPP, but they haven't been able to enable live prices on them. There appears to be a fair degree of arse-covering going on here and it's self-evident someone has cocked-up. However, just like the NHS, no one will ever admit fault.

I've received another waffly excuse email from HL. They apologise for the problem of failing to display the correct prices, but completely fail to say what went wrong and who was to blame. In other words, exactly the same corporate BS you get from any company working in financial services. In effect, for most of last week there was a false market in BCN shares (I don't mean that in the formal sense) and this was caused by Link and possibly HL.

I find these articles useful, particularly as they relate to the wider market. However, they find it quite difficult to remain neutral as far as their own holdings are concerned. Broadly speaking, they lack objectivity.
