Sorry, I should have added one thing in Seckers defence; it is almost impossible to put a timeline on fund raising.
Having done it on numerous occasions myself, the simple fact is, lenders/equity providers move at their own pace and they are unconcerned by timetables set by a potential borrower/investee.
This makes life very difficult for a quoted company and CEOs have to be careful when announcing publicly that funding will be completed by such and such date.
Secker, according to his own statements has six weeks to deliver. I'd be surprised if he achieves it.

Regardless of what interpretation is being put on the timing issue now, the one thing I can say with absolute certainty is that PS said on numerous occasions in the second half of last year that the aim was to complete funding in Q1 this year. In other words, by the end of March. There was no ambiguity at all.
The lack of clarity on the current position is the fault of the company. It really isn't difficult to say for example; 'March 2019', or whatever else it's likely to be. I'm afraid this is all too typical of Secker's approach to corporate communications.

With regard to a statement from BCN, the point is they CAN'T give a statement. There is nothing else to say that wasn't said the other day. In other words, they're working hard at tapping the market and dd is taking place, but, as it stands, there aren't any offers on the table.

As far as today is concerned, the overnight announcement from Nemaska has really put a spanner in the works.

At the time of the last announcement I raised the issue of what seemed to me a very high cash outflow. I speculated that the only explanation could be the fees associated with the fund raise, although the company didn't think it appropriate to mention it.
This statement clarifies that the fees were $4.1m. This is important because it was possible to assume general admin costs had got out of hand. Why didn't they simply make this clear at the time? Frankly, it's this sort of detail that pisses me off.
