I fully understand your view and as a shareholder you're completely entitled to it. It has been enormously frustrating, particularly as we all know what we're sitting on. However, I think we're seeing the unfolding of his strategy and although we're not there yet, the recent progress has been more than encouraging.

I might be entirely wrong, but I really do feel we're not far from seeing something significant. Let's hope we're not disappointed again.

Eloro, obviously I agree with you apart from the comment about SC and NM. NM should be given credit for what he achieved, but he was incapable of positioning the company for either a sale or production. It's Caldwell who's putting together the building blocks and is making the company both saleable and investable.

Come to think of it, over the past two weeks, have you noticed the reduction in the number doom-mongers? For months we've been subjected to people popping up from nowhere telling us it's game over, that Ecuador is engaged in civil war, that the whole thing is a scam and that we're all fools for having a degree of enthusiasm. I'm not referring to shareholders who have a legitimate gripe, but those non-holders who seem to infest many of these bbs. You can't help but wonder what kind of people they are.

Eloro, you are mesmerized by the short term share price. It's time you understood what the strategy is and how Caldwell has been going about achieving it. Just read what's been put in front of, it may cheer you up a bit.

I speculated earlier that the delay may be as a result of the number of funding choices on the table, but equally it may be the interested buyers have now received what they need and we're waiting to see the result of their deliberations. In other words, we're not going to commit to funding when that is not our first choice.

As a result of now having plenty of funding options available to us, we are in a hugely improved negotiating position with buyers. This is exactly the background to discussions we needed and if the situation is as described, Caldwell has done a masterful job.

In the last two weeks we've had the most important and significant announcements the company has produced for a very long time.

SM, and you're right about the importance of the newsflow. Yesterday's revelation was of huge significance and yet it's been swept away by this environmental stuff. It's like waiting for a bus for years and then failing to get on when it finally arrives.

From the technical study is that the company has been presented with numerous options as to how to progress matters, (interestingly the report states that the process began in 2020, well before the SR was launched) and the delay in announcing something must be a result of the board weighing up which way it wants to go and negotiating the best deal. What a great position to be in.

Will they stick to their stated intention of realising shareholder value via a disposal? Or have they changed their minds? Either way, it's now apparent why Caldwell and co are seemingly so confident. I just wish the market would would catch up with what's been going on.

Rcgl, not sure I follow your second paragraph. It seems to be contradictory.

Rcgl, do you agree that the risk has been substantially mitigated over the past few weeks?

1) A workable PFS has been delivered after years of failed attempts to do so. (I realise some people will argue that we already had one, but the proof of the pudding was the fact we needed to do another one)

2) Full governmental support and priority granted.

3) Funding available if needed for both the short and long term.

4) A CEO on the ground who has clearly developed a good working relationship with the people who matter.

This looks like a totally different picture to me and many of the uncertainties have been removed.

Fort, like you, I'd be bloody furious, as will our main shareholders, which is why I don't think it's likely. The board needs their support.

I have noted your softening stance recently but didn't know it was based upon a conversation with Sangha, which sounds as if it was interesting.

The fact is we all want the same thing and we want it asap. This has been a very long journey and has perhaps taught a few us many lessons about investing in a junior explorer operating in a politically sensitive area.
