Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Eloro, there's a difference between being happy with the current sp and understanding what SC's trying to achieve and realizing the amount of time required and complexity of what it involves.
Apart from a few rather unpleasant non-shareholding sadists, I don't imagine anyone is happy with the current sp - least of all SC.
Eloro, I'd be surprised if anyone was completely oblivious to the country risk, but I think it's a question of perspective. As Eish points out, so much of the world's mineral wealth is situated in very dodgy jurisdictions and by comparison we appear to be in one which has become very supportive of mining, albeit provided it's in the right place, like Cascabel.
Nobby is very important for us and the good news is that he has good support for his crackdown on cartels. We need his re-election.
p.s was your second paragraph aimed at me? I've never questioned your share ownership.
Jerry, far from it! My observation about gold is simply due to the fact I've never really paid much attention to it. I'm also aware you have a keen interest in what happens to the gold price and are therefore far better researched.
Jerry, absolutely, although from the way things are looking, copper will continue its appreciation, but I'm not sure about gold. Whoever ends up buying this will do so based upon the very long term view of the future for copper.
SH, "don't get it twisted", perhaps you don't enjoy sarcasm when it's aimed at you? Which is strange, given how often you employ it.
As for the rest of your post, I refer you to my post of yesterday in which I drew a comparison with the Philippines. Admittedly, they didn't seize someone from an embassy, but Nobby's tactics mirror those of Duerte. Similarly, if you genuinely believe the Chinese, or indeed others, will be affected by this, I'm afraid I disagree.
The former vice president Glas, has been found in his cell in a "self-induced coma" following an overdose attempt.
No doubt this will speed-up Mexico's planned invasion and seizure of Cascabel.
Yes, good job! You've managed to do this on a regular basis and I only wish you'd do it more often. Some people may say you're talking tosh, but not me. Your unerring inability to guess the direction of the sp correctly is one of the most accurate counter-indicators I've ever come across. People are making fortunes on the back of your wishful thinking.
Keep it up! Your reward will come in heaven.
