Just checking in here again. Bittersweet news really - It is pretty sad for those investors who have been shafted once again but at least people have finally stood up to the BOD and stopped their gravy train. It is a very big call and a very brave one to reject the resolution. It is basic self sacrifice but it is certainly the right thing to do. Hope everyone can dust themselves off and take heart from the fact that the right thing happened. The BOD are an utter disgrace and I'm sure everybody here will be keeping an eye on them to stop them doing this to anybody else. No doubt they will rear their ugly heads in due course elsewhere. It can't be allowed to happen.

Well the fact that they refer to it as a loss makes it fairly clear that it turning positive is very unlikely. Not long to wait to find out! Anyway, I'd rather expect less then receive more than the other way around. There is nothing to suggest this will have miraculously turned a profit. The problem with AIM is that people work themselves into a frenzy with unrealistic expectations and when they naturally don't happen then there is a huge sell off and undoes all the hard work. Baby steps.
Well if you are right and this is profit making already then the update will blow the SP out of the water. I kind of thought we would be 6 or 12 months away from profit. I think it'll take time to "wash through" as BK said.
"Why can’t more people see the opportunity here when this was profitable it was £10" - it wasn't profitable though was it? That's the problem! Anybody can say they are making a profit if their numbers are completely wrong. I think its a good opportunity here but I think its fairly obvious that the SP isn't going to be £10 because it ISNT profitable.
the best part of the news for me is that it is further proof that the accounting errors are behind us. The FCA ended their investigation, we brought in some of the best in the business to review the books and they are happy and now a third party has done due diligence and is happy to trust us with up to £13m. All in all, things are looking up and we will see even bigger gains than the ones we have seen today. There is a long way to go here and it will be a fun ride.
*Where the Chinese have been looking to buy in at for over two years with no actual progress or end in sight.
That's pretty much why the SP is down the spout. If the market doesn't think the deal will happen then the SP will reflect that.
Whippet - well actually, I haven't posted for about 6 months because this is a dead duck and I don't pay it much attention anymore. I thought I would check in and its the same old rubbish. To hide behind smoke and mirrors and say that the criticism isn't justified because something 'might' be happening behind the scenes is laughable. All signs point to this being worthless and it is up to the BOD to prove otherwise. They don't even need to as they are still doing a fantastic job of milking the company for their salary which is the one and only priority. Until this changes, this won't be a profitable investment (apart from the odd spike here and there but horses are a more fun way of wasting your money).
Whippet - Just out of interest... Do you think that the criticism of the board is unfair? Obviously it isn't nice and nobody wants to read such negative feedback. However, I think that it is all absolutely accurate and a fair reflection of the decimation of the company that has been presided over by the BOD. They have no excuses. The fact they are still in their roles is beyond me.
We just need the release of the new figures to show progress. I don't think the SP will go up or down until then. I'm expecting quite a high increase in turnover but any minimising of loss has to be at the forefront of the aims. It is a pretty viable company and I feel like the risk is very much priced in so it should be a fun ride in the new year.
