If I was a glass half empty kind of a guy I would completely agree with everything that you have said. However, the increase in the share price today shows that there is now an upward momentum with SDY mainly ( in my opininon ) due to the healthy dividend being offered. At its current levels this makes SDY very attractive and I think that whilst the company thinks that 48p is fair value.....I would argue that 35p is fair value and that is where I shall be saying farewell to SDY . I do see SDY hitting close to 40p in the next few months though if conditions remaining the same.

Wow! I only asked a question and you have just regurgitated what I have already found on the internet and done it in a rude manner! If you don't know then you could have just said that you don't know or you could have not replied at all!. Everything you have regurgitated is from a post online. That posts reads like anyones CV who is promoting themselves....What I was looking for was a factual proven record not a load of wishy washy nonsense so that I can make an informed decision. I am now sorry for asking.........I had hoped that I would have an informative answer off somebody . It would have been great to know that he was at such and such a company and completely turned it around. I find that when someone answers in such a way as you have I usually find its because they do not know the answer to the question and they are full of their own self importance. Conratulations on your gain on IPX today. I've only had a glance at them but the fact that a good propotion of the stock is owned by the staff and they keep buying is always a good sign !

Investormain that's a healthy profit and I thank you for your honesty. I invested here around the £3.05 mark.....I think it was more luck than skill as I have invested in some real dogs in the past. Everyone is different in these situations but I would like to hope that you have a great plan for your profits :-)

Tjblowhard .If you are a one trick pony then well done to you!! You have indeed picked the perfect share . It sounds like you may have played the perfect game.....just like occasionally Noel edmonds would say in " Deal or No Deal" :-)

Most have done well here with rolls royce shares. However, I constantly see predictions of the share price...£12 next year, £9 by the end of the week! I would love you to share how you have calculated your future valuations. So that we can all learn together. When somebody puts £12 next year DYOR it reminds me of my brother who has taken a lot of drugs and is a massive conspiratory theorist who states his delusions like they are facts because he is full of his self importance and likes to put himself on a pedestal.

Now it may be the case that your predictions come true but it would be great that you share with us how you arrived at those in an informative matter.

I also saw on another thread on how someone stated how rolls royce was there first 10 bagger! So assuming that person put in an investment of £10,000 they

would now have £100,000 . So for a bit of fun.....and with all the predictions on this page.....what in your opinions will be the next investment which is a 10 bagger so that they can turn their investment into a £1,000,000. You are more than welcome to be informative :-)

I love rolls royce and the journey that many of us have been on .....but this wasn't a surprise for me :

Tullow is a share dog in my opinon . I have watched it fall and fall again over the years. But I have bought in again as a speculitive buy on the hope that I can make a relatively quick and easy profit. Lets hope that there is a bit of momentum thwart the shorters and push this share North!

Oh and Alnwick......I really hope that you live there....Its a very beautiful place!

I love the fundamentals of card too. The trouble is the shorters also love this share! Card based on its fundamentals should be trading at least £1.20 in my opinon. I just don't think that market find Card sexy enough to push the price to where I think it should be. I will keep holding though on the basis I may be wrong :-)

@nonsense I really hope so. The fundamentals of card factory deserve the price to be higher. I do regret not selling last year though when they hit just shy of £1.50. Lets hope for good news on Wednesday and that there is momentum to take us North.

I agree......Nuclear is a scary word. And we all grew up with the tales of sheep's being born with 2 heads near Chenobyl. But being realistic Nuclear energy is needed to provide independant and stable power. And we are going to need more power incredibly soon. There are many other companies developing SMR's........Lets hope that rolls Royce have the magic ingredients to give them the edge :-)

Thank you for your input..........I have also done the figures myself and they are astounding. According to my calculations if the the cost of building a RR SMR is 6 billion and for that they can supply 1.1million homes for 60 years. I worked that out as a cost to the suppler of £100. Now whether I am right or wrong in my calculations...even if you add couple of zeros to it my god the potential fro profit is staggering!

I really hope that you are right. Card Factory has so far delivered solid results and there is a handsome dividend too. The Shorters are killing card Factory though. In my opinon card factory should be trading at least £1.20 a share and on

exceptional results a great deal higher.............but I fear that the shorters after results day will drive the share price down. I really hope that this is not the case as I feel that the true value of CF is being distorted by Shenanigans of these traders. GLA

I am no expert in share dealing. I've made money......oh and I have lost a lot of money too! You know the saying when something is too good to be true then it probably is not true! I have spent a great deal of time looking for the chink in Rolls Royce's armour. They seem to be over achieving market expectations......They are also, with there SMR's appear to be a front runner in an industry that will become increasingly very important due to the demands of population growth and AI . I know nothing is certain but I am struggling to find a negative scenario for Rolls Royce.....Am I being delusional ? I would love to hear your thoughts................
