Otjozondu Loan

On 3 June 2021, Premier provided a US$260,000 loan direct to Otjozondu for use at Otjozondu Manganese Mining Project in Namibia ("Initial Amount"). The secured loan with an interest rate of 20% per annum is repayable in US$25,000 instalments on each shipment of Manganese commencing from the beginning of September 2021.

Premier has now agreed to extend the existing loan by US$180,000 ("Extension Amount") thus increasing the total loan amount to US$440,000. Premier has further agreed that the repayment term of the Initial Amount will only commence on the first shipment of manganese following the signing of a new off-take agreement.

The parties have further agreed that the Extension Amount will be immediately repayable on the signing of the new offtake agreement from proceeds from the new off-take agreement.

Useful amount---bet we take shares to settle.

"In fact, demand for lithium is expected to soar in coming years. By 2030, Benchmark Mineral Intelligence forecasts lithium demand will reach 2.4 million metric tons (MT) lithium carbonate equivalent — much higher than the forecasted 600,000 MT of supply expected to be produced in 2022."

Generally pleased with the RNS,a little concerned that the original agreement regarding payment has been amended--asking myself why ??

From original RNS:

Pre-Payment Agreement

Suzhou TA&A have agreed to provide a pre-funding amount US$34,644,385 ("Pre-Payment Amount") to enable the construction and commissioning of a large-scale pilot plant at the Zulu Project. Upon the signing of the Agreement, US$3,450,000 has been made immediately to Premier to commission the securing of the pilot plant. The remaining balance of the Pre-Payment Amount will be paid in one lump sum following completion of the transaction documents.

Agreement signed,funds remain unpaid.

raaydaar-- I picked up on this some weeks ago and asked the BB for any explanation.
I was informed that the money is available to Prem .
The CEO draws down the money as and when required.
To date $18.1m has been spent[as per RNS]
