According to George, the plant has to run continuously for 21 days to reach the nameplate.
Spodumene prices are on the floor, current Zulu costs are high, and there is a strong possibility that only minimal profit, if any, will be declared for the first 6 months.
The earliest predicted sustained rise in spodumene price is 2025.
My instruction to George is to go for EGM and raise a healthy sum.
Use 2024 to increase efficiency at the plant, reduce input costs, seek the premium on the higher grade product, and increase productivity.
Continue with the exploration mining at Zulu.
There is a saying "If you think education is expensive try ignorance", IMO that saying can be applied to all of 2023, ignorance costs the shareholders.
2024 is a different ball game, setting the foundation for a very prosperous 2025 and beyond.
