Nothing wrong with placing if its done for the right reasons, SAE raised at 12p (30% discount) 2 weeks ago and the SP hit 30p yesterday on its finance news, Avacta and ODX did massive placings 2 months ago at £1.20 and 40p, they are now £2 and 60p

Past drilling results from Inishowen

Hole 17-MR-08 intercepted gold mineralisation from 21.5m grading at 14.25g/t gold over 0.5m and confirms that the vein is steeply dipping. Hole 17-MR-09 returned 1m at 0.35g/t gold associated with a 20cm quartz vein from 42.6m confirming the continuity of the vein along strike. Hole 17-MR-11 intercepted a new vein 100m south with 0.43g/t gold over 0.5m from 5.9m. No significant mineralisation was intercepted in the other holes.

Past drilling results from Mine River

Historic drilling and recent drilling by Connemara has proven gold mineralisation in bedrock. An eight metre intersection from 74m grading at 4.53 g/t gold (Au) at Tombreen (17-TB-01) has demonstrated substantial mineralised thickness, which includes 2m from 78m at 16.1 g/t Au. The best reported historical intersection at Tombreen was 50cm grading at 21.28 g/t Au from 70.7m (2558-3). Geological data indicates significant strata-bound gold mineralisation is associated with the contacts between Ordovician volcanic rocks and metasedimentary rocks.

Fantastic news, two gold projects restarted and the fully funded zinc drilling involving Glencore will start this month too, not bad for a minnow with mcap of just £2 million!

Arkle Resources (AIM:ARK) announces that fieldwork has restarted at its Mine River and Inishowen gold projects in the Republic of Ireland.



In Mine River, Wicklow, the team intends to extend the soil sampling programme east along the gold trend with over 3,000 samples planned in a tight grid of 20m by 100m spacing. Multi-element analysis using XRF technology to identify anomalies in indicator minerals, will be used.



A similar soil sampling programme will be undertaken at Inishowen in Donegal, with 20m by 100m spaced sampling over the known gold veins at Meeneragh to include areas where gold bearing rock was previously discovered. Over 500 samples are planned with potential infill sampling to follow.



The soil sampling programmes at both Wicklow and Donegal are due to be completed in the coming month, after which targets will be prioritised for follow up trenching and or drilling.

With gold price at all time high and zinc at the highest price this year, Arkle is an absolute bargain at sub 1p, massive rerate this month when drilling is announced

The initial discovery in early 2016 of 3.05m grading at 5.8g/t Au was assayed in hole 16-MR-03 from 23.05m. In June 2016 another high-grade zone was intercepted inhole 16-MR-07 at 8.13m, grading 4.82m at 5.48g/t Au. Drilling in September 2017 intercepted gold mineralisation in hole 17-MR-08 from 21.5m grading at 14.25g/t gold over 0.5m.

Zinc drilling which Glencore is involved is fully funded and planned for this month, also 2 gold projects in Ireland starting soon as per last RNS, can't believe mcap is only £2 mil!
