I am not sure about the "more sense" part. Completely different discussion on the JV option and buying shares in GGP outright. One is history and the other is still possible although less so with our "white knight" on board.

As for the economics of such a scenario of either (at the time) I am sure they ran the numbers on that one. And decided to do neither.

Matty are you able to expand on this ie what share and any other reasons for; I have, and I've now seen 52% (in real money not paper profit!!) wiped off of my investment in less than 12 months!!
