Morning my dear speedy - now the dust has settled a bit I can see that all is not what most thought it might be or become overnight; others showing immediate interest for one.

You may recall I commented about the "lack of movement" in both SP and that I was not sure what to make of it. At this juncture it seems we can put that down to a lack of industry interest at this spend level. However it is still early doors and neither party (although not in the hunt at this stage I will include our fearless leader) is giving much away.

Permutations - good use of the word in this context. I am going to run with Callum and as you know I have said for some time that the key to the door for GGP aspirations to become a mining "player" in the Patterson is full ownership (or control) of Telfer.

If & when the time comes I for one will be putting my chips on the table if this was to transpire; irrespective of consolidation, further share issue or being "burdened" with debt as some seem to have an inert fear of.

Funnily enough at the time I suggested we stump up 2bil and watch SB ride into the sunset. I now think they would take 1.75 lock, stock and barrel. On the other hand I am not eliminating NM being successful and either offering up the same package or showing us the door. In which case we all meet up at the "Bull" and wildly celebrate our windfall.

Anyway and either way as things go it is good to see a bump in our SP, a solid gold price and a future that has become far more interesting.
